Weeks after Y/N found out about Shoto and Momo, she started spending more time with Katsuki Bakugou. The fiery, explosive nature of Bakugou was a stark contrast to Shoto's cool demeanor, and it stung to see them together. Shoto watched from a distance, his heart aching with a jealousy he couldn't control.
He saw Y/N laugh at Bakugou's sarcastic remarks, saw the way she smiled when Bakugou showed his softer side. Shoto realized that she was finding comfort and strength in someone else, and it filled him with regret. He had pushed her away, and now she was slipping through his fingers.
One day, Shoto confronted Bakugou after seeing them training together. "What do you think you're doing with Y/N?" he demanded, his voice colder than usual.
Bakugou smirked, crossing his arms. "What's it to you, Todoroki? You had your chance, and you blew it. Maybe she deserves someone who won't let her down."
Shoto's fists clenched, his fire and ice powers simmering beneath the surface. He knew Bakugou was right. He had let his insecurities and confusion drive a wedge between him and Y/N. Seeing her with Bakugou made him realize how much he still cared for her, and how much he needed to fight for her.
