If there was one thing that helped calm Isadora's racing mind, it was running. Finding herself on a late night jog, the silver blonde felt a little bit better about everything going on. Izzie smiled softly as she felt the night air flow across her face with each step she took while music blasted through her headphones. The calming feeling was cut short when she heard a voice call out to her; trying to get her attention. Thinking it was the mysterious voice from earlier, Izzie decided to tune out the voice and focus on her run and the music in her ears."Isa," the voice called out again before she felt a presence jog up beside her. The air fairy almost punched the incoming person, not expecting someone to appear next to her. "Sky," Izzie breathed out, coming to a halt, "I was not expecting to see you out here."
Sky hummed in response as he watched the shorter teen grasped onto her headphones and remove them from her ears. "Feeling better, I supposed?" The blond headed male questioned in a slightly worried tone, wanting to make sure she was okay after her mini episode earlier. "Yeah, a lot," Izzie replied back softly, not wanting to divulge how the sickness feeling vanished from her system. "Um," the air fairy paused, tucking a few fly away strands from her French braid behind her ears before continuing, "thank you again for being there and making sure I was okay."
"Anytime," Sky smiled warmly in response, "so what brings you out here at this hour?" Izzie returned the smile, "just trying to clear my head. Calm some thoughts that have been brewing. What about you? What are you thinking about?" The silver blonde could sense some tension from the taller teen, wondering what he was thinking about. "It's nothing," Sky dismissed, not wanting to unload his troubles onto his new friend just yet.
"It's clearly something if it has you out here, at night, alone," Izzie proposed with a raised eyebrow, not buying his dismissive answer. "Technically, if I was alone, I wouldn't be here with you right now," Sky teased with a slight smirk placed on his pale pink lips. "Are you trying to mansplain to me like you did to Bloom?" Sky chuckled at Izzie's response, loving their playful banter. "No, I promise."
"Mhm," Izzie hummed, "sure, whatever you say, perv." Sky shoved the girl's shoulder in a joking manner, "shut up." Izzie chuckled at his action, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." The specialist shook his head at the shorter girl before assuring her that he was okay, "I promise, it's nothing."
"Yet somehow, I don't believe you," Izzie nudged the taller teen with her elbow, wanting to know what he was thinking after the little incident with his ex. "It's complicated, Isa," Sky mumbled lowly, rubbing a hand over his face. The latter nodded her head in response, "well, if you ever need someone to talk to about it, I'm here for you." Sky smiled warmly in response, loving how genuine and sweet the platinum blonde is.
"Do you wanna finish my run with me?" Izzie proposed, hoping this would help clear up his racing thoughts. "Oh no," Sky shook his head no, "I'm not trying to impose on your run or anything."
"Says the boy who stopped me from running to chat," Izzie reminded him with a small smirk and a slight eyebrow raise. Sky smiled sheepishly, knowing his intentions were busted. "Come on," Izzie nudged his side once more before slowly jogging away from him. The duo began to jog side by side for a little bit before coming to the front of campus. "Thank you," Sky muttered as they stood face to face in front of the school's entrance.
"No problem," Izzie hummed lightly before she felt the wave of nausea return. Taking half of a step forward to catch herself from falling, Izzie let out a small groan. "Whoa, hey," Sky called out in uneasy tone, placing one hand against her right hip to keep her upright and the other on her left shoulder to balance her out, "you good, Isa?"
Izzie swallowed thickly, nodding her head very slowly in hopes the shaking wouldn't anger her growing migraine. "I think I'm gonna puke again." Sky panicked, unsure what to do in the moment, sensing she was tense about his help. "I- I should go," Izzie mumbled lowly, pushing the taller teen away from her side.
