Isadora Michaels found it extremely difficult to get any sleep that night due to the traumatic events that happened not too long ago. Flashes of the burned one filled her mind causing her to toss and turn the entire night. Deciding to get ready for the morning rather early, the silver blonde tried her best to sneak around the shared suite, not wanting to wake up any of her roommates.Throwing on a simple running attire outfit, Izzie quietly made her way out of the shared dorm and headed for the outdoors. "Someone's an early bird, I see," Silva greeted the jogging teen as he noticed her approach the specialist training facility area. "Very much so," Izzie hummed as she came to a slow, steady stop so she could fully chat with the older male. "Uh, um, if you don't mind me, uh, asking..." Silva trailed off as he suddenly got nervous thinking about the second half of his question, "how is Meredith doing?"
"She's doing good," Izzie smiled softly, thinking back to how her aunt was the last time she saw her. The silver blonde wishes her aunt took Farah up on her offer of coming to the Other World as well and being a professor at Alfea, but her aunt refused; not wanting to step back into the fairy realm just yet. "She bakes now."
"Really?" Silva muttered in shock, not expecting the turn of events for his old friend, "I'm surprised by that. She was not a good baker back when we attended Alfea together." Izzie chuckled, thinking back to a few burned cakes in the past, "she's come a long way actually."
Silva smiled softly before changing his tone slightly, "are you okay? Headmistress Dowling informed me of what happened last night. You could have gotten seriously hurt, Isadora." Izzie glanced down at her shoes, knowing he was right. "And also you should never be out past the barrier by yourself like that. It's not safe out there."
"But I wasn't alone, I had Bloom," Izzie tried to defuse the situation, knowing the latter was completely correct in his viewpoint but she didn't want to admit it out loud. "It was reckless, you two could have gotten seriously hurt. Burned Ones are not something you can mess around with, Isadora."
"I know, I know," Izzie frowned softly, "I learned that last night." Silva felt sort of responsible for taking care of Isadora as she lived in the Other World, knowing her aunt would want Farah, Ben, and him to do so. "Look, I know I'm being a little harsh on you, but I know your aunt would kill me if I didn't look out for you."
"And I appreciate it," Izzie replied back in a genuine tone. "Promise me you won't do something like that again," Silva asked in a hopeful tone. While Isadora knew that wouldn't be her last unsanctioned trip into the forest, she didn't want Silva worrying about her every move. Instead, the silver blonde decided to tell a small white lie and agree to his promise. "I'm just looking out for you, kiddo." Izzie smiled lightly at his comment, appreciative of an adult figure watching over her. "You should probably go shower before your fairy class starts soon."
"I will," Izzie hummed, sensing that she had been gone longer than she anticipated, "thank you." Silva nodded his head before watching the silver blonde teen jog back towards the fairy dormitory. After a quick shower and change, Isadora headed towards the stone circle with Bloom and Aisha, hoping for a somewhat successful class.
"Magic lives in the very fabric of nature. And here, in our circle of stone, it's magnified," Headmistress Dowling began to teach once the first year fairies had arrived at the stone circle. "The vessel tests your ability to channel that magic. Later, you may learn to connect with other elements but your first year is all about the element you were born with."
"Earth." Terra stood up from her stone seat and made her way towards the vessel. Terra focused her elemental abilities and created a plant inside the vessel. "Soil, sand, rock, and all manner of plant life." Aisha was next as Dowling explained what her powers were geared towards, "Water. The lake and oceans of the world or the molecules that exist in all organisms around us." Once Aisha had finished with her water molecule show, Musa took the stage, showing off her purple orb, "the mind, thoughts, memories, dreams."
