Michiko arrives in Tokyo, Japan
Michiko met up with Nobara when she arrived in Tokyo. On the entire walk back to the apartment complex, Nobara just went on about all the fun things they can do together now that they live in the same place. Occasionally, Nobara would point at things in the city she liked and disliked too. It was fun listening to her ramble in person.
"We're here! Hurry, we're on the third floor."
"What's the rush-" Michiko got cut off as Nobara grabbed her wrist and dragged her into the building, past the front desk, and went straight for the elevator. "Don't I need to talk to someone?"
"We've gotten it all taken care off for you, don't worry!" Nobara patted her hand to reassure her, but Michiko could only be more worried. When they reached the third floor, she saw that there were around four rooms on the whole floor. "Here, you and Fushiguro are in the far left one."
The only thing Michiko knew about her new roommate was the their full name was "Megumi Fushiguro" and that was about it. The photos Nobara sent her didn't tell her much either. Megumi was very clean and barely had any decorations around the apartment.
"Is Megumi home right now? I still feel a bit awkward about this whole thing." Michiko hesitated on opening the door with the keys Nobara gave her.
"I think Fushiguro is working and will be home in the evening, c'mon let's just get you moved in!" She shook Michiko's shoulders.
She sighed, "Fine."
Luckily for her, Megumi had already bought basic furniture for the vacant room a while back, so it didn't take that much time for her to unpack her things. Michiko got to roam around the apartment and it was really nice compared to her previous home. The place was clean, organized, and followed a distinct black and white color scheme.
"Looks like we're done!" Nobara smiled, patting her own back for her contributions.
"Yeah, thanks again for helping me." Michiko gave her a quick hug before pulling away.
"Of course I'd help you!" When she pulled away, Nobara checked her phone for the time. "Oh! Well, if that's everything I need to go!"
"Wait, what? You aren't staying?"
"I promised Maki I'd be at her baseball game today, it starts in an hour and I have to be there early!" She grabbed her bag and made her way towards the door.
