Chapter 4: Motherly Kiss

(In the evening)

The sea-side restaurant is filled with the reflection of colorful lights of cityscapes, the gentle breeze also fills the environment. After eating, Ben an Evie are outside of the restaurant, standing, feeling the environment and the moment. But, Evie... she's just standing there, thinking of the usual last night event, she's feeling kinda upset for her guilt, unsure for what to do next. A moment of silence, but Ben breaks the silence.

Ben: Mom...(Says with curiosity)

Evie: Wha-huh!... Yeah, what is it? (Trembling)

Ben: You seem kinda...off. Did something bad happen?

Evie: Uh-n-n-no! Why would I? (Nervous laugh)

Ben: Is that so? (Suspicious look)

Evie: I...I uh....(Blushes)

Ben:....Mom~ (Kinda sad expression with bit of a curiosity)

Evie: mmhhh~~!!! (Struggles to hide the truth but she also can't hide the truth any longer, she's trembling and blushing deeply)....you wouldn't mind, okay~?

Ben places both of his hands on Evie's shoulders, this makes Evie to blush more and tries to hide her face, but Ben stops her doing it. Ben nods no, meaning he won't be mind at all.

Evie: Huuuu...(Sigh) Okay, I...I...last night, I...I kissed you on...on your lips...(Hides her face with embarrassment)

Ben: WHAT!!? Wha-wait! You're joking right?! Huh?

Evie nods no, that means she's telling the truth.

Evie: (Sobs) I'm so sorry, I'm so disgusting! I don't deserve you to be my beautiful son! I'm sorry! (Breaks into tears)

Evie cries, she already knew that it's over, she wants to run away, she wants to be disappeare but at the same time, she can't understand what to do... Ben doesn't seem to be amazed now, he's also kinda sad, yet serious.

Ben: Mom (places his hands on Evie's cheeks) I'm not mad at you. But I just wanna ask you, why did you kiss me?

Evie: Because,... you're.... you're so... charming (sobs and blushes deep red)

Ben:...I love you, Mom. I know you love me... that's why love led us to here...(A small smile on Ben's lips) Think about it...

Evie: (Confused on Ben's statement) Ah...are you sure?

Ben: I never tell lie, Mom. You know me very well.

Evie's eyes are sparkling with joy and this unexpected thing. She removes her tears from her cheeks, she's smiling and right now right here, she feels like she really wants to kiss Ben...no matter what.

Evie: I love you, baby! (Kisses Ben, he is shocked but he can't resist, her kissing is so strong...like magnet, they plays with their tongues for a bit until they pull away themselves) I love you, I don't wanna loose my boy!

Ben: I love you, too mom...I seriously love you. (Hugs tightly) Let's go home, shall we?

Evie: Hmm! Sure~! (Evie says with anticipation and a bit of proud, her tone is gentle, yet playful but happy)

Evie never felt like that way after her husband's death, she desperately needed it. A part of her mind is igniting with sparks of possibilities. But her other part of mind, she's feeling kinda guilt for cheating her late husband over her own son, Ben. But gotta say, he really has something, something attractive... something... irresistible.
