The new town

It's been a while since I've seen her; well, I've seen her body but not the real one, not the real June.

Alice is sitting on her bed, her hair in her face. She was reading bible verses, per request of her mother. She's always been pushing religion on her, always hard on her. That's okay because she knows her mom is trying her hardest.

"Alice, time to get up" she can hear a familiar voice say, it's her first day in a new school, it's a public one in the new town. She slides out of bed onto the cold wooden floor. She changed into a sundress with a blue and white pattern, she brushed her long brown hair into a braid. She looked into the mirror, her almost black eyes staring back at her. She looked at her skin, she often feels uncomfortable in her skin because how it looks. It isn't the color that she doesn't like, she has pale skin that looks pink when she's in the sun for too long. It's the shape of her body, her mom always tells her that she's beautiful but that's not what she's complaining about, she knows she's beautiful, that's the way god made her. She just wishes that he made her skinnier, this isn't something that she can complain about though, her mom would just cry and blame herself. She's lost in thought staring at her skin until she hears the door open, her mom's standing there talking. She looks at her snapping out of it. "Hm? Sorry,, what did you say?" she looks at her mom through the mirror, and round woman with green eyes, blonde hair and fair skin. "Awww.. you look gorgeous hun." Her mom walks over putting a hand on Alice's shoulder "i wish i could pull off a dress like that... hm." Her eye lingers on Alice for a moment longer before walking away "it's time to go! We are going to be late"

June is sitting at a long table, eating her breakfast. She seems lost in thought until she feels a steady hand on her shoulder. She looked up seeing her dad, a tall man looking down at her. "June, what are you wearing?" She looked down at her outfit "it's the back to school clothes i bought" she showed off the skirt and oversized shirt she was wearing, it has a shirt with half naked women on it.
"I'm not going to argue with you young lady. Go." She stood up, almost knocking the chair over. She grabbed her backpack and stormed out of the house into the car. Headed to school. In the car she stares out the window, looking at the old forest in the distance, no one goes there, except for the small white car driving out of it. That's weird. She noticed the car has a plate from Chicago, what are they doing down here in fawlesburrow ? it seems as if they are following the car, it happens that they are going to the same place, school.
