~Y/N POV~

As soon as I opened my front door with the key, I was swallowed by darkness.

"Who turned off the lights in here?" I muttered, irritation seeping into my voice.I walked into my house and flicked on the lights. Just as I shut the door and was about to turn around, a voice shouted, "BOO!"

"WAHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed, feeling my heart leap into my throat.

My mood was already sour after being hit by that shortie's car a few moments ago. And now this?

"Sohee, come on! Why do you always pull the stupidest pranks?" I snapped, sighing in frustration.

Sohee laughed loudly, as if my annoyed expression was the most hilarious thing she had ever seen.

"Well, I pull stupid pranks because smart pranks are overrated." She said while laughing like a maniac.

I chuckled at her stupidity. "You're absolutely ridiculous!"

"Anyway, where's my cake?" She held out her hand expectantly.

I pulled out a box of Belgian Chocolate Truffle Cake which I got from her favorite bakery and handed it to her."

"Awww, my Y/Niee. Thank you so much! You're the best roommate anyone could ever ask for!" She hugged me tightly."

"Don't worry. I'm always here whenever you need me." I flashed a small wink at her.

Then she noticed the bruises on my elbow."Hey! How did you get these bruises?" she asked, her face clouded with concern."

"Don't even ask. On my way home, an idiot hit me with his car. I fell, and these are from the friction of the road. Such a blind ass!" I rolled my eyes, still fuming.

Sohee's eyes widened. "Why did you let him go? You should have punched him right in the face. How dare he hit my baby?"

"You think I stayed silent? Hell no. I threw my sandal at him. And he was like 'Sorry, I'm so sorry.' Like dude, your sorry isn't going to heal my scratches." I rolled my eyes again.

"As you should. Was he not paying attention at all? Anyway, let me get the first aid kit." Sohee said, heading to the bedroom.

She returned with the first aid kit in hand. She soaked a cotton ball with antiseptic and pressed it against my wound. I hissed as it made contact with my skin.

"Sohee, it's burning!" I winced, my eyes squeezing shut.

"Endure it for a while, Y/N. I need to treat this, or it'll get infected." She cleaned the wound and applied a bandage.

"Well, it's done." She packed the first aid kit away.

"Thanks a lot. You bandage pretty well." I smiled at her.

"By the way, I got something for you." She said.

"Sohee, enough with the gifts. My closet is full of them. I don't have space for my things." I looked at her.

"Oh, why do you always jump to conclusions? Just wait and see." Sohee said, annoyed.

"Okay, show me what you got. I swear if it's another gift-" Before I could finish, Sohee interrupted.

"Oh, you just sit here and wait. I'll be right back."She ran to the bedroom and returned with a paper.

"What's that, Sohee?" I asked.
