They Fell

"Ahh, a good old spicy coffee would make me feel good" said Jake, a stressed-out young man working day and night without any breaks, headed towards the Café. As he sat on the chair, a young lady also in a bad mood came inside. Both overthinking about their life, the coffee was served.

It was cloudy and windy since the morning. It started raining heavily outside suddenly as they finished their coffee. Seeing the weather outside in the morning, Jake brought an umbrella to save him from getting wet. After a few seconds Jake headed towards his home, the lady rushed putting her hand on top of her head towards her way, which made her not see anything. The lady seeped on the wet ground and crashed into him, which made both fall.

The both got up from the ground , "Can't you see where are you going mister , aughh" the girl said in a annoyed voice . "Miss you literally ran into me , what are you talking about" , said Jake . "Oh did I ??" The girl asked confused. "YESS , yes you did " , replied Jake. "Oh I am so sorry , I didn't know I was in a rush , I am so sorry ", said the girl . "Ok fine but where were you going to in such a rush ??", asked Jake . "Oh nothing , I was just going home and it suddenly started raining and I didn't have any umbrella , so I thought maybe running would help me get less wet" , the girl replied. "You can come with me , I have an umbrella maybe we both can share it" said Jake . "Oh you think I would share a umbrella with a stranger who just bumped into me" Mila said . "First of all , you bumped into me and second or all I proposed that idea because you didn't have any umbrella and if you don't want to I wouldn't force , now bye" replied Jake angrily. "Oh no no , sorry sorry , I would love to come with you , hehe" she said . "Oh really, look how tables have turned" he replied . "Hehe" , she giggled. They both started walking on the street , there was an awkward silence between them , then Jake tried to initiate a small talk , "So , miss what is your name Though?" He asked , "oh sorry I didn't introduce myself , my name is Mila" , "oh wow , you know I had a best friend named mila in second grade , btw my name is Jake" , he said , "oh really, so where is that friend now ?? , mila asked with interest. "I don't know she moved to a different state when 2nd grade ended , I haven't talked to her since " Jake said with a sad face . "Wait my name is mila , I had a friend named Jake when I was in 2nd grade , I moved to a different state after 2nd grade and I haven't talked to Jake since . IS THIS YOU JAKE ????" she screamed. "MILA" he screamed too . They both started talking to each other with a smile on their face . "I guess we should go to a restaurant ,there we can talk , ok ?? " Asked Jake. "Sure" she replied. They both went to a nearby restaurant and talked there for hours , they eventually stopped after they were kicked out because it was closing time . "UGHHH , the manager didn't have to be so rude , he could just politely asked us to leave " mila said with a angry face . "Well I guess we were there for THREE HOURS and we haven't ordered any food and were very loud so I guess it was justified" replied Jake . The rain had stopped now so they could go back to their homes . "So where do you live? I can order an uber for you" he asked . "THERE IS NO WAY , I am not going home with a creepy uber driver to my home , Its literally 12 a.m and my house is not near either"she said . "Well then how would you go home??" He asked . " I don't really know , my house is around 3 km from here "she said . " Well then you can stay at my house for tonight" he said .
