Misunderstand (Boy X Boy)

episode 3

Every year, everyone would spend the spring festival by sitting with their loved ones and having a good time or having fun with their friends in the school garden decorated with flowers, butterflies and birds.

Every year, Zack would finish decorating, go out with Mattheo, and have a group party with two random girls or a few guy friends he invited over.

But this time he didn't want to have fun after the mess with Theo and Alice.

However, since he was in the art club, his teacher put her in the group that would decorate like every year.

While the teacher was telling everyone's duties, he finally started to read the names of the people who were in the decoration business: "...Lina, Matthew, Leo, Zack, Alice and Theo, you are in the decoration group, make the decorations in the art class, the whole class will help hang them."

Zack froze, forgetting that Theo helped decorate every year because he was in the art club too, and Zack didn't know that Alice would help either.

Zack panicked; "Uhm, you know, uuhh." Matthew suddenly opened the door; "You finally came, we were waiting for you."

Zack was saved at the last moment. When he saw Theo inside, he took the colored papers on the side without looking at him and asked; "So, will we make flowers and butterflies again this year?"

Lina said: "This year the concept is more colorful... they wanted it to be about love, we have to find something special, more lively and emotional."

James added: "Maybe we can make a rainbow, but what are we going to do about love?"

Zack looked at the papers and said with excitement: "How can swans be both about love and so beautiful?" While everyone supported this idea, Theo asked curiously; "How did you think of the swan?"

Zack looked at the papers and smiled slightly; "Swans have always been interesting to me. They are both very pugnacious and very sensitive creatures, and they are like symbols of love."

Everyone, especially Theo, was impressed by what Zack said, so they took the papers and started working.

Theo was stealing glances at Zack from time to time, Zack was just trying to focus on his work without showing any emotion.

Theo ran over and picked up the tree-shaped and put it back with Alice... On the first day of this ornament, whenever Alice needed help, Zack asked Theo to help Alice.

Finally they completed the first day, everyone was leaving one by one, only Theo, Alice, Zack and Mattheo remained.

When mattheo said, "I'll drop Alice off, you two can go," Zack wanted to object; "But isn't your home far away? So Theo can drop Alice off and you can come with me."

Mattheo:"No, Alice and I live close to each other, where does Theo live? "

While walking silently, Theo suddenly stopped and said; "Zack, I need to talk to you."
Zack jumped in surprise; "Huh W-What do you want to talk about?"
Theo spoke; "Why are you trying to get your friend Alice and me closer?"

Zack was surprised, but what he just did was obvious: "I just thought you two would make a good couple."

Theo was surprised; "But I thought you liked me, so why would you do this?"

Theo said with a bitter smile on his face: "Is it wrong to want the person I love to be happy?"

Theo was surprised and even froze. Zack turned around and was about to continue walking when Theo spoke: "Don't do this...Don't give up your happiness for me to be happy, because your feelings are as valuable as mine, so don't force yourself, I know you are in pain! "

Zack thought about Alice, why he wanted to do this, how he felt...he still had her back turned but Theo could see he was shaking.

Theo grabbed his shoulder; "Zack, what are yo-?"Zack turned to him, his eyes were teary and tears were falling down his cheeks.

Zack smiled through his tears;"It hurts so much,but I have no choice."
Zack turned his back to Theo and quickly walked away

Theo was frozen;"Does he...really love me that much?"continued walking alone,saying this to himself

Zack entered the house with quick steps. He could hear his mother's voice coming from the kitchen and his father's television watching from the living room

As Zack goes to his room upstairs, his mother calls after him:"Zack, honey, I've heated up dinner for you, change your clothes and come downstairs!"

Zack changed his clothes, washed his hands and face, his eyes were red... He couldn't forget what Theo said.

He went downstairs and had his dinner. His mother was sitting in the living room with his father.

Zack wash his dishes and said, "I'll study in my room," and went to his room
