"Yes Ma'am, I'll tell him immediately." Park said.
"Something wrong?" Y/N asked as Park covered the phone with her hand.
"The Prime minister is sending troops to help in the attack, they should arrive shortly after we touch down." Park answered as the troops' faces lit up.
"How are they getting to Verdansk?"
"Beach assault." Park said as Y/N's face turned stone cold in panic.
"What?! This isn't fucking Normandy. They'll be massacred if this isn't pulled off right." Y/N protested.
"Prime minister Thatcher wants to speak to you." Park said as she heard Price's brow furrow.
"Ma'am with due respect a beach assault will lead to those soldiers being massacred like D-day." Y/N said with authority in his voice.
"I am in charge of your unit-"
"Actually you're not, we're independent from all countries. Like the UN of counter terror. Look y-yo-you ne- SHUT UP! If you want any hope of pulling this off then you will need to bombard the beach with fire from the warships before even thinking about sending people in." Y/N snapped. The Prime Minister paused for a moment.
"The invasion begins in six hours, either stay out our way or bring Perseus to us dead or alive, that's the only way to stop it." Thatcher said as Y/N handed the phone back to Park.
"What did she say?" Price said as Park hung up.
"We've got six hours before the invasion starts, if that happens...lotta people are going to die. Old hag." Y/N said as he checked in with the pilot.
"We're coming up on Verdansk." the Pilot said as Y/N headed into the toilet cubicle and changed into his gear and a parachute, stepping out in a grey suit with kneepads, black boots, black gloves and a black vest with his bandana on his head.
"What are you doin'?" Price asked as Y/N stuffed a walkman into his vest before opening the cargo door. Park approached Y/N.
"Someone has to get the anti air defences at the airport offline. I'm the best shot we have at doing that. Besides, I need my two second in commands leading the troops off this plane." Y/N said as he approached Park and handed her his dog tags before kissing her goodbye. "I love you, Park."
Y/N jumped from the back of the cargo plane and into free fall, Park stuffed the dogtags into her jacket pocket before closing the cargo door.
Y/N was falling as he looked back on all that he had done throughout his life, upon reaching 2000 feet he opened the parachute and paraglided onto the roof of the airport, swiftly discarding the parachute on impact before pulling his equipment from his duffel bag. Y/N threw the bag aside and readied his XM4, moving up to a collapsing part of the roof and sliding down through the roof and onto the second floor, taking out two guards before pushing up to the stairs, trying to avoid being spotted. As he moved in, Y/N felt a small gust of wind pass him, looking around to check that a door wasn't open. He was alarmed by the complete lack of a door that could have generated the strange gust of wind that had passed him.
