"Every night my daughter sneaks out of the palace at night. Did you finally figure out why? Is it to see a man?" The worried Queen asked the man she had hired to spy on her daughter.

"Quiet the opposite my Queen, she visits the daughter of our royal mage every night, well more like watches her secretly." Replied the spy with a hint of amusement.

"My goodness, this young lady is so disobedient! Well at least, it's not some love affair." the Queen sighed.

"Well about that your Grace..." The spy chuckled.

Was it really not a love affair if the Princess was pressed up against the Mage's table, kissing the said Mage while she showed her the cool magic tricks she could do?

"You know I can see you peeping right, Your Highness?" The rather calm voice of the Mage surprised the Princess, as she was caught staring. A rosy blush tinted her cheeks, as she shyly emerged from behind the glass window.

"I thought I was hiding good enough." Princess Cristeen muttered sheepishly, now standing in front of the giggling mage, who had caught her red-handed.

"Who do you think I was putting up a show for this whole week; Your Highness?" The daughter of the mage, Rin Ambrose replied, stepping closer to the not-so-secret intruder, Princess Cristeen Hazelwood.

"Y-you knew?" The Princess stuttered, shocked to discover the young lady was aware of her escapades.

"Yes." She replied, leaning forward to tuck a stray strand of the brunette's hair behind her hair.

"Do I have the honor to know why Her Highness was watching me from afar like a mouse at such hour?" Rin asked, a teasing smile playing on her lips, even though she knew the answer. Let's say, she wanted to hear it from the older's lips which had been the subject of her fantasies these days.

"You know why, Lady Ambrose. Don't be a tease." The princess replied, averting her eyes to avoid looking at the prying eyes of the Mage.

"Why not? Where's the fun in being normal My Princess?" She mumbled the last part to her face, making the older gulp in shyness. The mage was too cheeky and teasing for the Princess's soft heart.

"Whatever, if you already knew, why didn't you call me out before? Why tonight?" The Princess retorted back with a smirk.

"Who knows? Maybe because tonight is the fated night? Or maybe because my heart couldn't fathom the fact that Her Highness would sneak out at night to watch a mere immature mage like me?" Lady Rin said bashfully now.

"Immature? From what I saw, you seemed like a master at what you do, Lady Ambrose." Princess Cristeen said, refusing to believe the mage in front of her dared to call herself immature, as she was the coolest in her eyes.

"Do I?" Lady Rin chuckled;, turning her back on the Princess.

"Mhm. Why don't you do a magic trick for me, so I can finally judge if you're immature or not?" Princess Cristeen asked, getting bolder now. If there's a goal, why not shoot your shot?

"Oh?" Lady Rin didn't expect the Princess to ask that, but at the same time, she anticipated this happening.

Showing her magic to the person she was deeply infatuated with? The thought made her shiver in all good ways.

"Well, I suppose that's okay." The mage replied, turning around and looking at the Princess."

"What magic will you show me, Lady Ambrose?" Princess Cristeen asked curiously.
