Chapter 1: Revival
Lewis awoke in a sterile hospital room, bewildered and gasping for oxygen. His recollections were jumbled, with glimpses of grandeur, cruelty, and treachery. But this was not his previous life. He was resurrected as Jacob, a modern boy in the thriving city of New York.
Jacob's parents were kind, and his childhood was average. However, echoes from his past tormented him. Nightmares of silk-clad tormentors and golden prisons tormented his sleep. He knew he had to discover the truth.
Chapter 2:Forgotten
Jacob's research led him to an abandoned estate on the outskirts of town. The address resembled one of his nightmares. The grandeur had vanished, but the memories surged back—marble floors, dismissive stares, and oppressive expectations.
He wandered through the rotting chambers, his heart thumping. Hidden passages revealed truths, including his father's theft, his mother's never-ending teasing, and his sister's harshness. They spent their fortune, leaving him with just scars.
Chapter 3:Disguise
Jacob promised vengeance. He cropped his hair, dyed it black, and removed his luxury clothing. He transformed into a chameleon—a hacker, a scam artist. He penetrated his family's world, using his modern abilities to uncover their misdeeds.
His sister, Alexandra, also known as Alex, was now a successful CEO. Jacob befriended her and eventually gained access to her encrypted files. He found their father's hidden accounts, offshore assets, and stolen inheritance. The truth was worse than he had anticipated.
Chapter 4:It Begins
Jacob engaged in a deadly game. He released evidence to the media, which harmed his family's reputation. He manipulated stock prices, bankrupting the enterprise. He revealed secrets to their foes while watching them crumble.
But vengeance wasn't sufficient. Jacob wanted them to suffer as much as he had. He planned their downfall, having the mansion taken and their names soiled. He exposed their panic and despair.
Chapter 5: Revelation
One night, when Alexandra begged for mercy, Jacob revealed himself. "Remember me?" he asked quietly. Her eyes widened—the same eyes that had mocked him before.
"You were born again," she mumbled.
"Yes," Jacob answered. "And I've come to collect."
He compelled him to sign over everything: the mansion, the cash, and the heritage. Then he disappeared, leaving her broken.
Jacob later discovered something and thought, "Well, all of these do not belong to me alone. Let me sign most of them to charities and people who need help more than me."
The New Happy Jacob wandered to the rooftop and stared at the city lights. Memories flooded back—the mansion, the hospital room, and the rebirth. He recognised that he was greater than Jacob or Lewis. He represented a cycle of retribution and atonement.
Jacob donated half of his goods to charity for persons in need, and he wrote off money to his present parents to help them overcome their financial difficulties, as he felt fortunate to have them as parents.
As a result, the modern lad became a force—a whisper in the wind, a warning that the past never dies.
