Ichika Orimura has had enough getting attacked by the girls for stupid reasons and their jealousy as well as his sister's harsh treatment. He decides to go on a walk in the middle of the night until he had multiple headaches, flashbacks of multiple...
(At I.S. Academy, the girls are beating the heck out of Ichika Orimura.)
Ichika: I'm sorry.. I didn't know... something like this was going to happen...
Houki: Shut up. This is your fault!
Cecilia: Yeah, you're nothing but trouble.
Laura: Yeah, ve vill be better vithout you!
(Ichika feels his heart crack ashis anger rises inside of his heart.)
Charlotte: You son of a bitch, you have caused nothing more than trouble and destruction!
(After the girls were done beating Ichika, Lingying swings a kick at Ichika, who lays down bleeding.)
Ichika: (in mind) Why is this happening to me... I didn't do anything wrong and yet they treat me like this... A bunch of freaking idiots... Nothing more than morons they are... Damn you sister!
(Some hours later, Ichika got up by himself as Chifuyu didn't come to check on him after all. And once he recovers and tends his own wounds, Ichika decided to go on a walk in the middle of the night.)
Ichika: (in mind) I'll get my revenge on those bitches who did this to me... I'll show them my superior piloting skills, and those inferior bitches will see that they can never surpass a pilot such as myselff
(Ichika then starts feeling multiple headaches.)
Ichika: (in mind) Argh, what's happening to me?
(He grunts in pain as he has a flashback of an empire as multiple people are seen either supporting or going against said empire, and in a throne, a certain Prince is seen.)

(His name is Lelouch Lamperouge, the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire and the son of the 98th Emperor of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia. He was also the leader and founder of The Black Knights and the real identity of Zero.)
(Another flashback shows a certain Gundam Meister of the paramilitary organization Celestial Being who is also humanity's first True Innovator.)

(His name is Setsuna F Seiei, born at the republic of Krugis.)
(As he keeps having multiple flashbacks involving these two people, he is then seen in his mindscape, where he has a talk with Lelouch and Setsuna.)
Ichika: Uh... who are you guys?
Lelouch: I am Lelouch Lamperouge.
Setsuna: And I am Setsuna F. Seiei.
Lelouch/Setsuna: (unison) You, Ichika Orimira, are chosen to be our reincarnation.
Ichika: (shocked) Me? But... but why?
Lelouch: We had observed your struggles and your desire for justice. It's clear that you have untapped potential hidden beneath that dense exterior.
Setsuna: With our guidance, you can rise above them and become the pilot you were always meant to be.
(Ichika considered both Lelouch and Setsuna's words. He had always longed for acceptance and the chance to prove himself. This could be his opportunity.)
Ichika: Show me, then
(Lelouch and Setsuna smile as the approach him and attach a device into his wrist.)
Lelouch: With this device, I will transfer my consciousness into your mind.
Setsuna: But be warned, young Orimura, the power comes with responsibility. It is up to you to determine how you will use it.
(They then transfer their minds into Ichika's consciousness, and that's how Ichika's life starts changing. That's only the beginning of Ichika's journey to become the Superior Pilot.)
