" Then you know what her father meant?" Saturo said.

" Sadly yes." Yaga sighed as he sat in a chair.

" Ino and Akira were a year above me. They had Kirra while they were still in school. She's seven now if I remember correctly. They were always so happy. The type of people you would think to be together forever. Ino was strong and very skilled, Akira was never that strong but he made up for it with his smarts and meticulous planning. He would always have a plan B C D and even E. So I wonder why it didn't go his way?" Yaga said rubbing his chin.

" Well if you say he's a schemer then he probably would have known I wasn't supposed to be here today." Saturo said sitting on the edge of the hospital bed. And he wasn't. He had finished mission early and he had just gotten back in the middle of the battle.

" Yes, I imagine Akira would be smart enough to know not to go up against you." Yaga nodded.

" What happened to her mother?" Saturo asked as he looked at her. He took notice she was slowly inching to hide behind him. He gave her a small smile patting her on the head.

" It was when Kirra was three. There was a significant shortage on sorcerers at the time. Kirra's mother was a well equipped sorcerer to be able to go on missions alone, but..." He sighed." But the higher ups were careless with information and there ended up being multiple curses of which one of them was special grade. Kirra's mother lost her life that day... I guess Akira never gave up his grudge against them. He did say he would make them pay. I guess I just never thought he would involve Kirra." Yaga said peaking at the sliver of green eyes from behind Saturo.

" So you're saying this all happened because the higher up are scumbags." Saturo stated.

" I didn't use those words but yes." Yaya sighed with a grimace.

" What's wrong?" Saturo furrowed his brows at yaga's expression.

" The higher ups, they're going to hear about this." Yaga said fully aware of what they'll say and it horrified him.

" You mean-" Saturo was interrupted by a student running up out of breath.

" Principal Yaga, the higher ups... They wanna see you and Gojo." The student said out of breath. She took notice of the little girl behind Saturo. She wondered why a kid was here. Clearly no one had noticed her in the battle.

Yaga and Saturo both looked at each other. The timing on that was crazy.

" It must be important for them to show up so fast." Saturo pointed out to yaga. Saturo turned to Kirra who was hiding behind his arm.

" Hey Little Kirra. You wanna come with me, I gotta talk to some old farts real fast." Saturo said giving her a smile. She just looked at him offering a small nod.

" Perfect." He said standing and helping her off the bed. He grabbed her hand and yaga followed them to the conference room.

" Okay sit right here." Gojo said sitting Kirra on a chair. She looked at him again with the same expression as when he left to talk to yaga.

" I'll just be in that room. I promise to be quick." He said brushing her hair behind her ear. Yaga took notice on how attached this kid had gotten to Saturo after mere hours. Saturo to her as well.

The girl nodded obediently and Saturo stood.

" Stay here and don't go with anyone." Saturo told her and she nodded. If there was one thing she could do is follow orders. He gave her one last look before going over to yaga who just gave him a look.

" What?" Saturo asked almost offendedly.

" She seems very attached to you already." Yaga pointed out.
