I've Made Up My Mind

Waking up to the blinding light coming through the tall windows, Saturo stretched his mind hazy. He sat up rubbing his lower back, confused why he was so sore. He looked down and noticed he was on the couch in his room. His brows furrowed and his head snapped to his bed. His expression instantly softened as memories of the previous day came flooding back.

He stood up, slowly making his way to his bed. There was Little Kirra laying peacefully. Her hood had slipped back a little allowing him to see her face. What was this feeling he was feeling. Was this what is was like when people saw his eyes for the first time? But it was something deeper than that. A protective feeling, like he'd do anything for this little girl. A feeling he hasn't felt in a long time, if ever.

A small smile crept up as he pulled her hood down a bit to cover her face. If that was what made her comfortable then he was okay with it.

He then quietly walked to his closet and grabbed an outfit. He opted to change in another room so he didn't wake Kirra. After he was all ready he walked out to the kitchen to start the coffee. As the coffee was brewing he walked over to the fridge to see what was inside.

He sighed when all he saw was some coffee creamer, milk, cheese, and other small things like that. Hardly anything to make a breakfast. If you couldn't tell, he's not the greatest in the kitchen. He sighed as he leaned against the counter unsure of what to do. He couldn't just feed her cheese and milk for breakfast. And she was still asleep so he couldn't leave.

Then a light bulb went off in his head. With a smirk he pulled out his phone calling a certain someone. The phone rang a few times, obviously the receiver wasn't too keen on answering. Then suddenly the call went through and Saturo heard a sigh.

" What?" The deep voice said through the phone.

" Nanamin!" Saturo shouted.

" What do you want gojo?" Nanamin asked, clearly already done with him.

" Wellll, I'm sure you heard about what happened at the school, yeah?" He asked walking around aimlessly as he talked.

" Yeah, I heard there was an attack." He said." We're you there?" He asked. Although Nanamin (A/N: This is where I realized that my phone auto corrects Nanami to Nanamin, so imma leave it 😋) left the jujitsu world after he graduated, he was still somewhat interested in what happened. Especially because he hasn't heard much other than an attack that involved a domain that stretched across the whole campus.

" Of course I was. Although I think the curse users weren't counting on that. They left shortly after, but they did leave something behind.

Furrowing his brows somewhat intrigued, he asked." And what might that be?" A smirk spread across saturos face.

" I'll tell you but you'll have to come over, it's kinda a long story." He said. Nanamin thought about it for a second. He was finally free from that world, so why was he feeling a pull back?

" Fine." He said with a big sigh after a while.

" Great!" Saturo shouted then quickly covered his mouth, totally forgetting the little one was still asleep. " But there is something I'd like you to pick up on your way."

" And what might that be?" Nanamin said knowing there was something else.

" Cinnamon rolls. The ones from that bakery by your house." He said. He was almost certain she hadn't tried the heavenly flavors of the cinnamon rolls.

" Why should I pick up breakfast for you." Nanamin deadpanned as he got in his car.

" It's not just for me I promise. See you soon, I love you!" He sang, hanging up before he could reply. He giggled slightly throwing his phone on the counter.
