Misha was hugging her mother who was making Misha's favourite chicken tikka for her daughter.

"I miss bhai."

Misha pouted and sneha smiled kissing Misha's head by tilting her head, she covered the pan before telling her.

"He said he will try to come for diwali, but can't confirm it."

"So we will celebrate it without bhai?"

Misha questioned and sneha just hmmed doing her work before they listened Rajiv's voice calling them. The duo walked out to the livibg area, Misha sat beside her father wjo pointed at the tv.

The collison of 3 car in the main crossroad of Colaba happened an hour before, there were 14 people in total in the three cars, all of them are in critical conditions, they people are taken to the nearby hospitals. The roads are blocked by the police.

The three sent prayer to the people when Sneha spoke.

"Aarav also works in the hospital in Colaba."

Rajiv and misha nodded before sneha went back to the kitchen while misha took her mobile from the coffee table, she clicked on the whatsapp icon and next she opened the chat of Aarav's. She saw the last scene was on 2 hours back, Misha thought to send him a message but then stopped knowing he must be busy.

Misha had her dinner with her parents before telling them about her going back home, though her mother asked her to stay back but Misha didn't agreed and eventually went back to her apartment.

It was 2 at night when the Misha's apartment's bell rang, she woke up with a frown when there was another bell, misha immediately walked out of the room thinking about who it can be at this time on night. The third bell rang when Misha opened the door. And there she saw Aarav standing with his shoulder slumped.

"Aarav."

Misha called his name all out of her sleep, aarav just looked at her before Musha held his hand and pulling him inside she closed the door. The duo sat in front of each other on the couch.

"What happened to you?"

Aarav moved his hand in his hair letting out a sigh before speaking.

"You remember that day you asked me why do I like my job!"

Misha squeezed his hand with her other one and aarav told her in a slow voice.

"When I see the hope breaking in the eyes of patient's family. Today that guy, he had a big glass piece just next to his heart, it actually had touched his heart, his survival was not easy, but the family had so much hope just by knowing that I, Aarav Malhotra was doing the operation of their son, when I told them that he couldn't make it, those screams of his mother, those cries of his sister, those red eyes of is father, they are haunting me."
