Author’s pov
Once Connor arrived at the Athena cabin, he just barged right in, seeing through Malcolm’s facade
He walked over to the other boy and took the book out of his hand
“Why are you scared, love?” Connor asked softly
Malcolm was quiet for a moment before responding, explaining everything to Connor about his ex
Connor took off the hoodie he was currently wearing, his favorite one, it’s his favorite because Travis got it for him! It’s design is a simple red and blue checkered pattern, he handed it to Malcolm
“Here love,” Connor said with the kindest tone
Malcolm takes the hoodie and puts it on, he then gets up, and hugs Connor and the other boy hugs him back, pulling him in closer by the waist
Connor hadn’t realized that he spent a whole hour and half holding Malcolm until Travis busted into the Athena cabin
“Oh thank the Gods you’re okay! I thought something happened to you...” Travis said relieved his baby brother is okay, “Especially since one of your hoodies was on the floor of the cabin,” he added
“Oh, uh, I’ll explain to you later, Travis” Connor said, almost with a light chuckle

So glad this only took 2 parts, I would’ve died if it took 3-5 parts
