Yuuto is the meanest brother I have. Being the oldest, he got everything he wanted. My father will never become the head of Muguet because my grandfather, the great duke, is still alive. But my father is happy. I don't think anyone would want their father to die just for money, right?

"Can I come in?" I knocked on the door. My father ordered me to come to his office as soon as I finished my studies. I've been studying non-stop for almost three years now. With the advanced learning I've received, it's easier to understand why my past life's events happened as they did. It was human greed. From history to economics, I memorized it all, hoping to avoid the tragic future I lived through. Mine, and others'.

This marriage cannot fail.

"Lirika, we have an important guest coming."

"May I ask who it is, father?" I almost smirked. He's going to lie.

"The descendant of Arsene. It's crucial you make a favorable impression."

"But father, rumors say he's a monster. I'm afraid my fear will show." I played innocent.

"Sorry, child, but such a northern man shouldn't be in our main house."

"I'll make sure he's comfortable, father. Please excuse me." I turned to leave as my father ordered Yuuto to leave as well. The Muguets always want everyone at their feet, even the Warlord.

"Not a single word to me?" Yuuto loves attention.

"I'm sorry, brother, I just have nothing to say."

"How did you get so perfect?"

"I was taught by proper people. I read, so it wasn't too hard to solve." He remained silent. "If you'll excuse me."

"Lirika, why did you change?" I looked at him too coldly, too stunned to reply. Did he not see the pain I've been through?

"Pardon me if I become too much to bear. Don't worry, I'll be gone to the far north in no time. You told me to just live like I was never born, so I did. Why do you care now?"

You disgust me, brother. You caused me an indecent amount of pain I still carry. Even after I came back, the little incidents I remembered caused you all to harm me. You shouldn't care, you mustn't care, so why do you act like you care?

"I don't care! But I know such peasants will cause our great family issues!" He raised his hand, ready to hit me. Yeah, do it, do it and see father's reaction.

He slapped me, and before I fell, I saw someone familiar. I heard Ron panicking and taking that familiar person to a random room in the main house.

I hate the main house. I always get humiliated here. But this time, I am not who I used to be, and people now only recognize me as the innocent little lady who harms no one.

"Yuuto!"

"She annoyed me, father! How could I ignore her?"

"How could you be an heir with such manners?" Father yelled back at Yuuto.

"Father, it's alright. This isn't your concern. It's just a little argument, and my face doesn't hurt that much. I'm sorry, just please forgive Yuuto. My words deserved to be slapped for." I shed tears and saw Yuuto smirk.

The typical idiot he hasn't changed, even though I did. I thought the problem was with me, but the more time I spent around him, the more I realized he lost his sanity long before I was born. He'd always abuse whoever was weaker and smaller than him. All of us, little siblings and maids, were harmed by him at least three times. He enjoys people's pain, and it's utterly stupid that my father makes him heir.
