Once James left I felt like I could breathe again I let out a breathe and started watching the game.

" you okay ma?" Nelson asked

" yeah I guess I rlly wanna play tho."I said looking down wanting to get back in the game

" I can ask cam if u promise to be careful and not mess ur ankle up more ?"

"I promise" my face lit up wanting to play was an understatement I had so much on my mind and I needed to focus on basketball

"Aye cam Eliza said she feels better can ya put her back in please daddy cammy" he asked

"Fine but go easy ok?" He said looking at me

" yeah yeah ofc I said running to the line "

"SUBS" the ref yelled

I went in taking Marley out and began playing again.

So far I've dropped over 10 points since I got back in and they are gonna have to call the game early. It was 90-50.

They called the game early and we all packed our stuff up and went to the locker rooms before the boys game.

" ight gather around gather around " cam said as we all got into the huddle

" I'm proud of all y'all. You did good with the rebounds and offense was great. Defense I saw some good things out there " he said

" but don't let those girls get under ur skin I saw you guys tense up when they would make a comment. Don't let it get to you they want to rile you guys up and make u act out of character. Don't act out of character ok? Untouchables on three. 1..2..3 "

"UNTOUCHABLES " all the girls yelled as they split up to go home.

I went with Nelson and sat back down on the bench's watching the team warm up.

" Eliza can I talk to u?" Cam asked

My heart immediately started pounding thinking he was going to yell at me or kick me off the team.

" you played great your a good team player and thank you for locking in when I needed you to. I'm proud of u kid. And I know Nelson is to. You should have heard him while you were on the court. " he said

" thank you so much cam and dw I'm always locked in " I said jokingly

"Yea uh huh not when Nelson's around " he said

I just rolled my eyes and sat back down to watch the team warm up.
