Anthony's expression darkens upon hearing that the child has been raised by another man. He clenches his fists even tighter, trying to keep his anger under control. "So you allowed another man to raise my child as his own? Thinking it's his?"

"Yes, but unfortunately he found out yesterday.."

Anthony continues to look at her his expression hardening as he processes your words. "Unfortunately" he mocked her voice and scrunched his voice. "How dare you say that! And let me ask, how did he find out? Did you tell him?"

"No I didn't tell him! Do you think me an imbecile!"

Anthony's expression remains guarded, trying to understand the situation "Then how did he find out?"

"He overheard me" she said deflated.

Anthony still looks angry, still unable to process everything that was happening but he nods, understanding the situation slightly better. "I see. So is that why you're here? Because he found out?"

"Yeah... it is." She said.

Anthony looks at siena for a long moment before speaking again. "And what about you? Where will you go? Now that your husband knows the truth?"

"That is none of your concern! But if you must know!
He said he will stay as long as I return the child to it's rightful father." She clarified.

Anthony looks surprised upon hearing your words, not anticipating that reaction. He looks at you for a moment, a mixture of shock and bewilderment on his face before speaking. "Wait, what? He wants to stay even after knowing he's not the father of a child he raised for two years? And he wants to hand the child over to me?"

"Yeah"

Anthony is taken aback by this unexpected turn of events. He remains silent for a moment, thinking over everything that was happening before speaking again. "But why? Why would he want to stay? And why would he want to give me the child?"

"He is mad that she isn't his, he dosent want to look at a bridgerton is what he said" Siena said flatly.

Anthony looks at you, his expression serious as if trying to understand the husband's logic and reasoning. "So he wants to stay with you, but he doesn't want anything to do with the child, who he thought was his for years?"

"Seems so."

"This is madness.." he said covering his face with his hands. Anthony stares still finding it hard to wrap his head around the situation "This is... a lot to take in. Benedict pipes up, speaking for the first time since he walked into his mess of a conversation. "This is quite the unexpected revelation."

Anthony glared at him.

"What about the child? How does she factor into all of this?" violet said having nothing but sympathy watching the little girl who she just found out was her granddaughter sit in the middle of this.

Anthony looks down at the girl, who has been quietly sitting beside Siena the whole time "Yes the child Siena. what about the child?" He said hands on his hips.

"What about her?" Siena said

Anthony looks at you surprised by your question, not understanding how you can so nonchalantly ask that. "What do you mean what about her? She's my child. She's my flesh and blood, and I've had no knowledge of her existence until today. How can you ask 'what about her?'"

"Well ?? Okay? "

Anthony looks at her with disbelief and anger. Anthony. "Okay? That's all you have to say? 'Okay?'
The rest of the Bridgerton family watches the interaction in silence. "You're okay with just handing over a baby like she's a bag of dirt? Because you're husband says so?!" He said.

"I need this marriage, Anthony, she will be fine with you."

Anthony looked at her with a scorned face.

"What do you want me to say Anthony?"

Anthony looks at you, his expression still full of anger. "I don't know. Perhaps some remorse for your child? Feeling? An apology! Or at the very least some concern for the fact that you kept my daughter from me for YEARS."

"It's been two!"

Anthony looks at you, his expression unchanged. "Two years too many. Years that I could have spent with my daughter, watching her grow up. That I could have spent being a father to her, but was robbed of that chance because you decided to keep her existence a secret from me."

"Like you'd wanna be a dad" she grumbled.

Anthony looks at you, stung by your words. "What's that supposed to mean? You think I wouldn't want to be a father? What makes you think that?"

"You're a rake. At least when I was with you, you were.." she said.

Anthony's expression darkens at your words. The rest of the Bridgerton family watches intensely. "So because I was a rake that makes me incapable of being a father? Is that what you're saying? It means I don't deserve to know my child? Siena is that what you are saying! Trying to make out it is no big deal!"

"She's been raised by a fine man."

Anthony looks at you, his expression hard. He takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "And I am sure he was wonderful. Brilliant. Exciting... I'm sure he was a fine man, but he's not her father. I am. He will never be her father, no matter how well he raises her. And if he's such a fine and kind man? How could he want rid of her so quickly? If any good man raised a baby he would be attached"

"He has something against the Bridgertons I don't know!" Siena snapped. "She was his last name by the way."

"Are you trying to rub in salt to my wound. Is that why you came here!" He snapped. " the only reason she has his last name. Because you kept her parentage a secret from me. She should have my last name." He said.

"Change it if you're so annoyed."

"I will change her last name, don't you dare even think that I won't. She is a bridgerton. She's my baby. But changing a name dosent fix what you did! It doesn't solve the fact that you kept her existence from me for years."

"I know! You've said it already! It's done now," Siena said frustrated.

*Anthony looks at her, his anger still evident*

"Yes, it is done now, but it could have been done without all these years passing. I could have been there as a father to my daughter all these years if you had just told me the truth from the start."

"She's still a baby" she said looking at the two year old with a binky and blanket in her hands.

The Bridgerton family all look at the two year old with different expressions on their faces, Anthony, in particular, looks at her with a mixture of sadness and regret. "She's two years old. She may be a baby, but she's my baby, and I've lost two years of her life that I could have been there as her father."
