Izuku was in trouble. The last thing he saw was his friend bakugou was being dragged back by the heroes while he was being suffocated by the sludge villain. He slowly lost sight of it all and was glad kacchan was alive, he only hoped that his mother would be alright without him but before he could think of that any longer he saw a red beam shoot at him.

The sludge villain was hit by a red beam and the heroes jumped back as the young boy with green hair fell from the slime and looked up to see a man in black armor and red eyes fly down and land on the road his feet cracking the ground as he landed and all might arrived to see the man walk to the boy and he rushed past them before knocking the man back but the man rolls before standing and chuckling his voice distorted and grizzly “loathsomeness waits and dreams  in the deep!” The man then walks forward each step heavy and all might can feel the rage and contempt in the man's gaze towards him “and decay spreads over the tottering cities of men!” all might gets in a stance and speaks “who are you?” The helmet's eyes glow before he speaks “call me…” the eyes then shoot two beams into all might and he flies back into a police cruiser “black manta!” he finishes before looking at the boy nodding at him before walking to the heroes and his back spine glows red before his roars and fires his eye beams and makes a wall of fire between them and he turns walking away before flying off.

“BREAKING NEWS!” a woman says as she sits at a table before continuing “recent reports have shown the rise of a villain long thought dead!” The screen then shows pictures of black manta and then a view of him shooting all might into a police car before flying off “for those who never knew the aquatic terror, the black manta is a villian from all mights prime days of glory!” a video is show of all might in his silver age costume fighting the black manta on the deck of a oil tanker rig but his helmet is silver and more circular and he wears a black bodysuit with a pair of oxygen tubes on his back as he swings a harpoon gun at him before firing at the hero but his harpoon is swiped away and strikes a oil drum and causing several explosions to scatter around the rig and it starts to tip over causing black manta and all might start to slide down towards the ocean and the blond hero jumps up grabbing a pipe before catching the villain but as all might tries to lift him onto the side of the rig black manta pulls a gutter knife out and stabbing the hero in his side making him scream and he then speaks with a deep voice muffled by the helmet “bleed!” all might then head butts the mans helmet cracking an eye and causing the aquatic terror to lose his grip on the heroes hand and he falls into the ocean roaring in rage before the video cuts back to the woman “shortly after the black mantas helmet was discovered beaten and bruised and many suspected he was dead” a picture of the cracked helmet is shown as its right side is completely gone while the left eye is cracked “but now a new manta has revealed himself!” then the picture of the black manta in his new armor is shown as he shoots his eye lasers “but the real question is if this is the original black manta? or a pretender? trying to live up to the legacy of the terror of the deep.” then a knife strikes the tv where the news was playing and a man wearing hands all over his body looks at the man who threw the knife “your paying for a new one” the black manta steps forward and growls before nodding and then a voice speaks from a dark corner “you have done well manta but tell me why should we should give you the honor of killing the symbol of peace?” the manta then lifts his arms to his helmet and takes it off showing a dark skinned man with a gaze of pure rage at the mention of the symbol of peace “because he killed my father”

A young man is seen swimming to the bottom of the ocean floor with a black diving suit and he sees the figure of the black manta struggle to lift a beam of metal off of him and the young man swims to him and tries to lift the beam but fail and the manta growls before he places a hand on the divers shoulder “david! You need to survive!” the manta says and the diver looks at him “we're both going to get out of this dad!” the manta shakes his head and the crack in his lens gets bigger and the manta sighs before raising his left hand showing a detonator “it's time for a new manta son” David sees the detonator and looks at his father “no! Please!” the manta shakes his son before speaking “listen to me! You gotta live so you can kill that son of a bitch!” He then hands him a knife with a manta on the blade to him which David nods before swimming away and soon the manta roars as he pushes the trigger on the detonator and he explodes destroying all the high tech in his suit.
