White: *slams open the door* KRIS I JUST WITNESSED A MURDER
Kris: What...?
White: Eclipse - I think she's Eclipse? - she... I SAW HER KILL SOMEONE, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. AND SHE LOOKED EVIL. WHAT DO WE DO
Kris: Does she have a red scarf or a black scarf?
White: Red...? Why do you ask?
Kris: That means it's Evil Eclipse, not Dark Eclipse.
White: ?????
Kris: *sigh* Right, I forgot. She didn't tell you any of this yet... Okay, here's how it works. If the scarf is blue, then it's the regular Eclipse that we all know. If the scarf turns red, then it's Evil Eclipse (Nicknamed "Virus"). Black scarf is Dark Eclipse (Nicknamed "Lunar"). Both Evil and Dark Eclipse kill people, but they're not the same person and are in fact enemies. Dark Eclipse only kills when she's been angered, and Evil Eclipse is a sadistic killer. Because Lunar believes in karma and occasionally kills bad people, she hates Virus and therefore making them enemies. You got it?
White: WHY IS IT SO COMPLICATED
Kris: It gets more complicated, but I don't know the details either. We can ask her after she switches back to the regular Eclipse persona.
White: Are you not afraid of the other two - specifically the sadistic one - killing us?
Kris: Nah we're fine. I'm sure we haven't done anything terrible to trigger Dark Eclipse, and Evil Eclipse never kills Eclipse's friends so we're safe.
(...But exceptions do exist, and that exception's OC is in danger...)
Meanwhile
Virus: Wow, first time in forever. You want to work with me?
Lunar: Oh shut up. If wasn't for the fact that Eclipse refuses to let me kill them, I wouldn't need your help to fight against her will and kill them together.
Eclipse: Stop! Please, don't kill them I-
Lunar: SHUT UP, YOU THINK YOU CAN PRETEND NOTHING HAPPENED? YOU THINK YOU COULD STILL MAINTAIN THIS FRIENDSHIP LIKE NOTHING'S WRONG? I'M TELLING YOU, ONE DAY WE'LL HAVE TO TELL THEM THE TRUTH, AND THAT DAY, IS TODAY!
(And then yeah they just took control and now they're after someone)
Virus: Oh this is getting fuuun~ Who are we killing today~?
Lunar: We'll be getting rid of... White.

White: WHY THE HECK AM I THE EXCEPTION?!
Vic and Dark: Do you still remember The White Conflict (Vic + Dark vs. White)? Yeah, that's why.
