"Let me in before I rip you apart!" An dark tiefling screamed at a bear and two druids who stood guard in front of a giant sanctuary.

"Stand back! by order of kagha!" The Druid yelled into the small gathering crowd of teifling. "Let her go!" They shouted back, and pushed forwarded. A Druid roared as he quickly and effortlessly transitioned into a giant grizzly bear, the teifling huff and still stand guard.

I pushed myself to the front of the crowd to be pushed back immediately, "GET BACK!" The Druid woman yelled at me, I frown- parting my lips to say something but was interrupted by another Druid whispering in my ear, they glanced at me and the Druid woman cleared her throat. "You're free to pass, you and your party.." she stepped aside and the small angry crowd boo'd and yelled small protest with each step my party took towards the groves' leader. I stop in my tracks to take in the sight of a large group of Druid men and women surrounding a glowing green entity and murmuring chants... interesting..

I make note of the ritual and continue walking, astarion jogs up along side me. "What do you think? A bloody ritual hm?" He questions as we walk by, "far from it.. a protection ritual if anything.."
"Protection from the goblins?" Gale questions, "more like the teifling.." shadowheart leans her head towards two teifling children trying to scam a Druid child out of a couple gold coins. We approached the stone door and made our way down to the leaders headquarters, the drip off water matching the pace of our shuffling steps as we descend into the den.

As we grew closer, a small child pleaded out. "I'm sorry! Please!" My foot steps hurried down the steps and around the corner to see two druids standing over a terrified teifling child. The Druid man spoke, "kagha- please we got the artifact back-"

"No- this thief comes onto our land, and then steals our holy artifact in thanks?" Kagha's face twisted with anger as she looked down onto the child. I looked at the child then at kagha, "enough, release the child to me- I'll keep her out of trouble.." the words slip from my lips like word vomit and my feet stepped forward on their own as I pushed the child behind me and kagha's piercing gaze fixated onto me. Her eyes studying my posture and scanning my body language, I straight my back- fixing my posture to show how serious I am. I will not watch her kill a child. Kagha grimaces, "fine, but we warned child- next time teela's fangs will come down on you.."
I look down to her feet to see a snake wrapped around her boot, teela hissed at the child then made eye contact with astarion & hissed. Astarion hissed back.

The child thanks my party and I profusely, before running out of the small underground den.
Turning my attention back to kagha, she sighs "you do have to understand that I'm protecting the peace within the grove and stealing is not tolerated.." I cross my arms.. not convinced by her little tough love act. "Speaking of the grove, you're a skilled swordswoman and I acquire your help with escorting the teifling away from the grove.." she slides by the issue, hoping I won't bring it up again.

"Why can't they stay?" Shadowheart asks.
"Because the grove is for the druids, as it should be- now, if you wish for a healer as the other druids have told me- then you'd see to it that you talk to zevlor.."
her tone harsh before she calls for her snake that slithers up her arm and around her shoulder.

The snake giving a soft hiss as she walks away deeper into the den towards what I can only assume is her private quarters. "Well she's a piece of work.." gale scoffs and astarion chuckles a bit. "It's been a long day, we should set up camp nearby.." laezel chimes in and I believe that might've been the first great idea I've heard come from her mouth...
