After Serena got done talk with Mina, Denki had came back and he had two security guards with him. Denki sat by Serena while the security guards took the trio out of her room, once she was alone with him Serena leaned her head against his arm as she hugged it tightly. "Thank you so much babe."

"Not a problem, so I managed to see Todoroki on the way here. Seems like he was able to regain some of his voice back."

"I don't care about him, I care about what'll happen to us." She said as she looked up at him

He looked at her in awe as he gave her a sad smile. "Rena..."

"I'm afraid of what'll happen to us Denki, I don't want to lose you."

"You had told me that the arrange marriage between todoroki and you was severed right?" Denki asked

She nodded her head, brushing her head against the side of his arm. "Yes, before shit hit the fan-I had requested that Endeavor had stopped the arrangement between him and I. Which he agreed due to the terms on why."

"It still gets me that Todoroki wasn't the least bit worried about your mental or emotional health the entire time they had went to get you and Bakugo." Denki said shaking his head

"Why do you think I didn't want to be around him anymore? He doesn't care for me anymore. He's shown that more than anything that my feelings don't mean a damn thing to him."

Denki frowned as he heard her speak, he had spoken to Todoroki and he knew that it wasn't like that at all for him. Denki placed his hands in hers sadly. "Serena, at some point in time you are going to need to talk to him about what has happened between the two of you. There's obviously a lot of tension and unknown things going on between the two of you that needs to be talked about."

Serena shook her head quickly repeatedly. "No! I refuse to talk to him! I don't wanna talk to him!"

"Babe, please? For my sake...please talk to him. I promise you that I won't leave you alone with him."

Serena frowned hearing what he said. "Fine, just this once I'll hear him out."

"Thank you." Denki said sincerely as he kissed the top of her head softly

He then got up to open the hospital room door, letting Shoto into the room. Shoto came in and he frowned seeing that Serena had a cast on her arm. "So you were hurt out there...I'm sorry I couldn't protect you enough to keep you from being hurt Serena."

Serena shook her head. "I was the one who asked you to throw me on top of that giant ass thing, you could have easily have told me no and not do it. That's on me for pissing the damn thing off. How are you doing? I bet knowing that your eldest brother is alive is a kick to the gut huh?"

"Not as much as knowing that he had forced himself on you. I should have been more compassionate towards you, I shouldn't have done what I had to part ways with you Serena and that's on me." Shoto said as he placed a hand on his chest where his heart was, as he looked at her sadly

Serena's eyes blinked a few times hearing what he said. "So...you're finally understanding why I was so angered at you now huh?"

Shoto looked down ashamed of himself. "Yeah...I was an asshole towards you. You had every right to act how you had when we got into those dorms. I never should have brushed you off like I had. The entire time I fought with my brother he was talking to me and explaining to me everything that he had done to you. I...I truly had no idea he had hurt you so much serena." He said before he broke down crying "I was so rude to you and for what?!? For you to have so much trauma and hurt. No wonder you wanted me to be there for you-but I never was...I truly was horrible to you."

Hearing that he was in tears because of what he had finally found out about what had happened to her, she tried to get out of bed and go up to him only for her to almost fall on her face getting up if it hadn't been for Shoto keeping her from falling. With her good arm she held onto him and buried her head against his chest. "All I ever wanted was for you to understand what had happened that night...That's all. And I finally do. I'm glad you finally understand Shoto. I can be friendly towards you now, just...being with you isn't going to happen."

"I know...I'm aware that you are with Kaminari and that's fine, he seems to be doing a rather good job of keeping you happy."

She then looked up at Shoto sadly " Shoto...tell me just what exactly were you thinking back then?"

Shoto looked away from her sadly "I...I don't think that I was Serena...and I apologize for acting as brash as I had back then. I never should have said or done what I had back then. That was completely on me-not you."
