Nate's POV

It was a typical morning at the smoothie shop. Customers were coming and going, and I was busy behind the counter, blending another batch of our popular strawberry-banana smoothies. Suddenly, my phone buzzed with a message from Flash.

Flash: Nate, we need you at Mount Justice ASAP. There's been a development.

I frowned, wiping my hands on a towel. Flash rarely sent urgent messages like this. I quickly texted back.

Nate: On my way.

I left the shop in the capable hands of my assistant manager and headed straight for Mount Justice. My mind raced with possibilities. What could have happened?

Red Tornado's POV

When Nate arrived, the atmosphere in the briefing room was tense. The new recruits were already there, looking equally concerned. I stood at the head of the table, ready to explain the situation.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice," I began. "We have received intelligence that Cadmus is planning something big. Unfortunately, we don't have all the details yet, but what we do know is that they're targeting someone specific."

Nate's expression grew serious. "Who's the target?"

"We don't know yet," I replied. "But we do know that it's likely someone with unique abilities, which means any one of us could be at risk."

The room fell silent. The recruits exchanged worried glances, understanding the gravity of the situation.

Artemis' POV

I watched as the news sank in. Cadmus targeting someone in the League was a serious threat. It made sense that they'd go after someone with unique abilities, but not knowing who was the target left us all on edge.

"What's the plan?" I asked, breaking the silence.

Red Tornado turned to Nate. "We need to make sure everyone is protected. But more importantly, we need to gather more information on Cadmus's plans and stop them."

"Agreed," Nate said. "But how do we do that?"

Black Canary stepped forward. "We're going to need to split up. Some of us will stay here to ensure the base is secure. The rest will gather intelligence and monitor Cadmus's movements."

I nodded. "I'll go with the intelligence team."

"Good," Red Tornado said. "Let's move out."

Superboy's POV

Back in the depths of Cadmus, the training sessions were becoming more brutal. Galatea and I had to endure constant physical and mental strain. They pushed us to our limits, testing our every ability.

After another grueling session, we were thrown back into our cells. Galatea was breathing heavily, her eyes burning with anger.

"Why are they pushing us so hard?" I asked, frustrated.

"They're planning something big," she replied. "And they need us to be ready."

I clenched my fists. "We need to find a way to warn the League."

"We will," she said firmly. "But we need to be careful."

Galatea's POV

The next day, as we sat in our cells, I tried to reach out to Supergirl again. But the connection had been severed. It was like hitting a brick wall. The scientists had found a way to block our link.

I turned to Superboy. "We need to escape. We can't let Cadmus succeed."

He nodded. "But how?"

"We'll find a way," I said, determination in my voice. "We have to."

The Scientists' POV

We watched Galatea and Superboy closely, noting their resilience and growing bond. They were formidable subjects, and their desire to escape was evident. But we had contingencies in place.

One of the scientists turned to me. "Should we increase the security measures?"

"Yes," I replied. "And make sure the kryptonite and red sun radiation are ready. We can't afford any slip-ups."

Our surveillance on the Justice League was also intensifying. We needed to find a way to identify our target.

Amanda Waller's POV

I reviewed the latest reports, formulated a plan. Capturing the target was crucial, and we had to be precise.

"Increase the surveillance on the Justice League," I instructed my team. "Find out their routines, their habits. We'll exploit any weakness we find."

One of my operatives spoke up. "What about the Justice League? They're protecting their members."

I smiled. "We'll have to be smarter. Create a situation where the target has no choice but to reveal themselves. And when they do, we'll be ready."

Capturing someone with unique abilities would give us a significant advantage. I was determined to see this plan through, no matter the cost.

Nate's POV

Back at Mount Justice, I gathered the new recruits for a briefing. "We have a serious threat on our hands. Cadmus is planning something big, and we need to be ready for anything."

Robin spoke up. "So, what's the plan?"

"We're going to be proactive," I replied. "We'll set up surveillance on Cadmus, gather as much information as we can, and be ready for anything."

The recruits nodded, determination in their eyes. They were ready for the challenge, and so was I. This was a battle we had to win, not just for our sake, but for the safety of everyone.

As the meeting ended, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning. Cadmus was relentless, and we had to be prepared for whatever they threw at us. Together, we would stand strong and protect each other, no matter the cost.
