Chapter 2-Fighting Fallen, A Truth Revealed

After destroying the two perverts for taking pictures of his sisters and deleting them, Issei went back to his car and started driving Jeanne and Jalter home. He knew his sisters were more scared, and despite Jalter being a bit cold, she still clung onto him like a scared little kid. Issei looked back at the two and spoke in a gentle and warm tone.

Issei: Girls, I'm not mad at you two. If anything, I'm glad that you two had told me of what happened.

Both Jeanne and Jalter didn't say anything, but showed sincere and appreciative smiles to their brother. After getting home and going inside, Issei told the parents of what happened and wondered where Kotori went.

Miki: Oh, Kotori is having an after school club that she's going to.

Issei: Oh, okay. She could've told me, but it's whatever.

Once Issei knew where Kotori was, he then went to his car to go pick her up, but not before getting a kiss on his cheeks from Jeanne and Jalter, who ran off quickly to their rooms. Issei just smiled and went to his car, driving to the middle school to pick up Kotori. After he arrived, he waited for a bit, but what had happened earlier was still on his mind.

Issei: 'That girl...she called herself White Queen...who is she, really? And why did she call me Darling..?'

Issei had a lot of questions on what happened earlier, and was still surprised that the mystery girl that spoke to him kissed his cheek. After what seemed like a few minutes feeling like hours, Kotori came out and was with a few of her friends. She turned and noticed Issei waiting for her, which she started walking to the car, and her friends followed to see who drove the car. Upon opening the door, Kotori got in the front passenger seat, and her friends saw Issei and were stunned, seeing the "perverted beast" as he was called by the middle schoolers being Kotori's older brother.

Issei: Seriously...will you drop that title? God..why do you hate me so much?

Kotori only shook her head, and once the door was closed and Issei started driving, he saw that Kotori had a couple of tears threatening to fall. This put Issei on high alert, and he had to know.

Issei: Kotori...what happened..?

Kotori didn't say much, but the few words she did say made Issei know it will be a long night.

Kotori: Can we please...head to the park..?

Issei didn't say anything, but nodded and drove to the park, letting the family know he'll be out with Kotori for a bit. After parking and stepping out, Kotori also got out and clung herself onto Issei, shaking like a leaf a little bit and her grip like iron. This made Issei worried, and he held onto Kotori and let her cry in his arms. After a couple of moments, he needed to know.

Issei: Sis...what happened..?

Kotori: I...I was...h-h-harassed...

This made Issei extremely pissed off, as he held onto Kotori a little tighter. He also whispered to her in a soothing and warm tone.

Issei: Don't worry...your big brother will take care of it.

Kotori nodded silently as she only clung onto Issei, holding him like he was her lifeline. Issei softly caressed her hair, hoping to help Kotori calm down, and eventually she did. After calming her down, he drove her to the closest drive thru and bought food for her and himself, while also getting something for everyone else. Upon arriving home, Kotori stayed very close to Issei, despite seeing how she normally acted at home around him. Once they're inside, Issei lets Kotori be with the parents while he runs up to drop Jeanne and Jalter some food as well. Both of them were happy to get something and thanked Issei, and after he ate, Issei decided to head back to the park to be alone for a bit, but did let his family know. He soon arrived at the park, and started walking through it, eventually leading to the fountain as he stared at his reflection.
