The crown prince sees the girl on her throne and he can't believe how she is capable of ruling over her kingdom when his father always dismisses the idea of him, she couldn't have been more than eighteen. Her blond hair shimmers in the sunlight as she tosses it, she takes a sip of the glimmering crystal water that is from the magnificent Peranth lake. She puts it back into the seat and at this he chuckles silently to himself. Chaol the guard stands next to the crown prince protectively. The queen asks calmly to the prince what is the purpose of this visit and that going against her will get him a life sentence in the Terrasen dungeons and his father would forever be unsuccessful to save him if he tried since everyone knows to never face the queen. The queen starts to stand and look out the window towards the mountains as the sun begins to set which seems to make her smile and at that it makes him feel warm inside as if a new light is coming into his life. Once the sun has fully gone down she turns back around to him and he jumps in surprise which makes her laugh. Her eyes were a colour almost like the sea,they were...mesmerizing. The prince couldn't even be sure if it was his imagination or not because she almost looked like a fae but they had been gone since magic disappeared or even longer perhaps. He had never thought much of people in the past but that might change now that he had met this wonderful,beautiful and charming woman. She gestures to him to follow towards the balcony ledge which is quite strange but he nods and smiles a half smile that seems to make her sad like she'd once had something but now it was gone. He thought maybe it was just her eyes but for a mere moment he could've sworn that he saw something of her past like she wasn't just a mystery but something even greater.
