Whew, Thank God finally mi finish this surgery.
Been standing up for 5 hours straight performing this Hernia Repair.
Looking down at my patient whose hernia I had just finished repairing
'Yeah man him balls good again. Cause idk how him hide that big hernia fi suh long, poor sperm dem suppoused to in deh a squash out'
Anyways me proud a mi self, watch nice clean surgeon!
After washing my hands and removing my PPE, I looked down on my watch realising the time is now 2:30pm.
Hmm wonder if Kim available for lunch now, lemme text her.
Me : You available for lunch now?

Alrite suh lemme give yall a likkle back story in my life.
My name is Shanice Lawrence, my pet name is Shanzi, I'm a General Surgeon at KPH. I have a older brother, Sheldon who i love like cook food we have a close bond and have always been there for each other. Our parents passed when I was 16 and Sheldon was 19. He put all his dreams aside to look after me and I'm forever grateful. He is a dancehall artiste now but before ik he was affiliated with a gang in Spanish Town where we were from, whileI didn't really like the idea, he had to do what he had to, to take care of me and put me through medical school so not gonna judge. His girlfriend is Kimberley who is a Nurse and also works at KPH and they have a 5 yrs old son together, Khalif.
I have 2 best friends ; Lee and Nessa who I've known since Highschool "St. Andrew High school for Girls ❤". Leanna is an hairdresser and influencer, and Nessa is a physical therapist at UHWI and a fitness trainer on the side.

Spotting Kim when walking in Doctors Quaters, I took the seat infront of her.
" Bwoy mi cyah wait fi reach home and bathe and make your brother rub mi foot dem" sighed Kimberely as she ate her pasta.
"Must be nice atleast you have somebody can go home to." I replied while heating up my lunch in the microwave.
Today my lunch consisted of leftovers from last night, you know Sunday Monday, stew chicken with white rice and steam vegetables.
" Watchya girl nuh you seh, you nuh want a man" Kim answers.
