Are you guys excited for this story? I've been meaning to do this story for months,ever since I got into Moral Orel last year. I remember seeing the show on Adult Swim when I was a kid (yeah, let's be honest,we all stayed up late to watch adult swim when we were kids.) I really didn't like the series when I was a kid, and funny enough,for a time I misremembered the title being something like "Mormon Norman" but I got into the series after it gained a massive cult following in the past couple of years.
Anyways,my main idea for this story was simple; what if we had an Arron Ra style atheist in Moralton and what would his reactions be? Really the only lore breaking problem I have for this story is that there's a sort of key issue with a reader insert story...you see, Moralton is a segregated town with their being neighboring towns for different ethnicities,and since the reader can be any ethnicity (I for example am biracial; having a mixture of European and native American ancestry)anyways, it's not all that big of a deal, and I don't think anybody will care about us breaking segregation. The only reason I bring it up is just for lore reasons. Then again,I kinda fuck with lore all the time,so I shouldn't even fucking talk.
Anyways,when my Internet gets back up and running, I'll publish my first chapter. Let me know your thoughts on Moral Orel and what you're hoping to see. Also,yes,I might add Bloberta as a love interest.
