As the couple approached her, Ms. Wang gave a hint of acknowledgement towards Jungkook before her eyes went to Taehyung who watched the women with a mocking glint in his eyes. His body language screamed just how insignificant and unimportant the blonde found her.
"Ms. Wang..." The ravenette acknowledged her giving a hint of bow.
Even when this was what got Taehyung crazy about Jungkook, his humble nature and gentlemen manners, he didn't like his husband bowing down in front of anyone. Jeon Jungkook shouldn't bow in front of anyone. He was Jeon Taehyung's husband. He was above them all.
He should bow in front of his husband only.
"Mr. Jeon.... It's nice to see you again." The lady gave a smile which the blonde wanted to pull off her lip so bad. Her eyes on Jungkook were irking him yet he faked a smile when Jungkook caressed his waist with his thumb.
"Same here...." The ravenette smiled at her. "I wanted to meet you personally but because of the tight schedule, I had to send you an apology mail the next day after the party-"
"Oh Yeah.... I received that. It wasn't needed Mr. Jeon..." The woman interrupted shaking her head while Taehyung watched his husband in disbelief.
"Of course it was..." Jungkook turned a little guilty. "That night... It was a misunderstanding. Even Taehyung wanted to meet up and say sorry, but we couldn't get time... I-"
"Did he? " The woman questioned raising an eyebrow as if she didn't believe what she heard. Remembering that night, she couldn't think of one moment when she saw a hint of repentance or guilt or doubt in the blonde's eyes or actions.
As she looked at Taehyung waiting for an answer, the blonde could see it in her eyes that she wanted to see Jeon Taehyung saying sorry to her.
He wanted to laugh.
Her question caught the ravenette off guard momentarily, but he composed himself quickly. "Of course...." He gave a light chuckle before turning towards Taehyung who was watching the woman as if she was a walking joke.
His blue eyes shimmered with the arrogance as he challenged the woman with his gaze.
"Taehyung..." Jungkook called but the blonde wasn't in a mood to listen. The woman raised an eyebrow as she kept watching the blonde beauty challengingly.
"Baby..." The ravenette squeezed his waist and called him again making the blonde break the staring competition and look at Jungkook who smiled at Taehyung. "You wanted to say sorry.... Didn't you?"
The blonde gave him an 'oh really' look. As if... as if he expected the other to be kidding. He was a moment away from saying a clear no on the woman's face, but Jungkook smiled at him and nodded. "Apologize now, Taehyung."
Though his soft eyes and beautiful smile said something else, his words were a clear order.
Jungkook knew the blonde was not going to give in so easily. He knew how stubborn his husband was, but Taehyung needed to learn that accepting our mistakes and apologizing for them doesn't make us small. Being humble and polite makes you greater. Taehyung needed to be told that.
The blonde kept watching Jungkook waiting for him to take the clue. Jeon Taehyung never say sorry. Especially to a woman who dared to dance with his husband. It's a good thing that she was still breathing despite that attitude of hers.
When the ravenette didn't take the sign and kept watching the other with the same firm look, the blonde clicked his tongue in irritation. Sighing, he left his husband's arm and turned toward the woman with a sickening smile. "Yes, Ms. Wang, I am so sorry for the other day. "
