The woman stood in her place, stunned, as the cold liquid trailed down her face into her clothes. Everyone had stopped dancing. All of them watched the blonde glaring at the woman with murderous eyes, his features contorted into those of hate and anger.
Jungkook watched Taehyung equally stunned, but the shock soon turned into disbelief, which in turn changed into silent anger when he noticed everyone talking in hushed whispers. He fisted his hands tightly.
The blonde still glared at the traumatized lady, all set to kill her dead on the spot. His blue eyes had darkened.
"The hell?" The woman finally cursed when she came back to her senses. Golden liquid washed down her makeup leaving the messy trails behind.
The blonde sneered. "You seem to be dreaming about someone else's man, Ms. Wang. The splash was needed to wake you up to reality."
The lady looked at him in disbelief. Her eyebrows furrowed as if she couldn't believe what she just heard, but Taehyung knew better. People ask for a dance innocently, but their intentions are never innocent. Nobody do anything without a reason.
Eyes speak louder than words, anyway.
"Are you crazy or what?" The woman questioned in disbelief. Taehyung's eyes grew sharper.
"You bitch-" He lunged.
If Jungkook hadn't stopped him, he would have shown the woman what being crazy looks like, but before he could retort, the ravenette had strode ahead.
He took the empty glass from his husband and placed it onto the nearby table with a thud, flinching everyone while Taehyung still glared at the woman. Without saying anything, Jungkook held his wrist and dragged him out of the place leaving everyone talking behind their back.
Taehyung was so angry at the woman that he couldn't see the silent anger in his husband's eyes.
"Jungkook?" He called, but the other didn't reply. He just opened the door of the car for him and walked around towards the driver's side, leaving Taehyung to get in. That's when Taehyung realized that he fucked up.
The ravenette sat in the passenger seat staring into the distance clenching the steering wheel. Taehyung went inside. Putting the seatbelt on, he eyed his husband who accelerated the car into motion with a slack jaw.
The drive to home was silent.
All the way, the blonde had his eyes on Jungkook's white knuckles. They looked painful.
As soon as the car stopped in front of the huge white mansion, Jungkook walked out, closing the door behind with a loud thud. Taehyung flinched. He opened his eyes only to watch the other walking towards the door.
He couldn't understand why Jungkook was so angry. If anyone had the right to be furious, it was him.
Taehyung let out an exasperated huff before walking outside, equally mad. The maid bowed on her way out, but the blonde didn't even acknowledge her. He went to his room straight to find Jungkook removing the blazer.
"Kook?" He called but his husband didn't reply again. He threw the blazer onto the bed and unbuttoned the cuffs of his shirt. Taehyung followed his actions, still puzzled.
"Why are you mad at me?" He finally questioned.
Jungkook, who was now working on the buttons of his shirt, just closed his eyes, his beautiful features showing utter disappointment.
