"Here is the next chapter, enjoy!"
"Hey everyone, I just noticed that a part was left out at the end. You can continue reading from where we left off; the rest of it remains the same."Author's POV
Once they reached their room, Abhiram closed the door behind them, turning to Siya. Siya could see the concern in his eyes and knew a serious conversation was coming.
"Siya, I understand you want to have fun with Krish and Aadhu, but sneaking out in the middle of the night isn't safe," Abhiram said, his tone gentle but firm. "Anything could have happened to you out there."
Siya looked down, feeling a pang of guilt. "I know, Abhiram. I wasn't thinking about the risks. I just wanted to make sure they had a good time and stayed safe."
Abhiram sighed, stepping closer and lifting her chin so their eyes met. "I appreciate that you were looking out for them, but you have to consider your own safety too. Promise me you won't do something like this again."
Siya nodded earnestly. "I promise, Abhiram. I won't put myself or them in danger like that again."
His expression softened, and he pulled her into a warm embrace. "Good. Because I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to you," he murmured, his voice tinged with emotion.
Siya wrapped her arms around him, feeling the steady beat of his heart. "I'm sorry for worrying you," she whispered. "I didn't mean to."
Abhiram kissed the top of her head, then gently tilted her face up to meet his gaze. "Just don't do it again, okay?" he said, his eyes filled with a mix of love and concern.
"I won't," Siya assured him, standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek.
Abhiram's sternness melted away, replaced by a tender smile. He found himself zoning out, lost in the sensation. He recalled the first kiss they shared, which had been filled with raw emotion and the weight of their past. That kiss had been an attempt to bridge the gap between them, to connect amidst their shared pain.
But now, this kiss felt entirely different. It was soft, tender, and filled with genuine affection. It was as if their bond had deepened, and the kiss was a reflection of the trust and love that had grown between them. Abhiram felt a warmth spread through his chest, a sensation that was both comforting and exhilarating.
"What is happening to me?" he wondered, a smile tugging at his lips. He felt an overwhelming urge to do more, to hold Siya closer and deepen their connection. But he didn't want to rush her or make her uncomfortable. The last thing he wanted was to spoil this beautiful moment with his impatience.
Despite his best efforts to control himself, the urge became almost unbearable. He gently released Siya from their embrace and took a step back, his eyes lingering on her for a moment longer. "I... I need a minute," he said softly, his voice thick with emotion.
Siya looked at him with concern, but he offered her a reassuring smile. "I'll be right back," he added, then turned and headed towards the bathroom.
Once inside, Abhiram leaned against the door for a moment, taking a deep breath to steady himself. He couldn't understand why he was feeling so overwhelmed. It was just a kiss, yet it had stirred something deep within him.
Without another thought, he turned on the cold water and stepped into the shower, hoping the chill would help clear his mind and calm his racing heart. As the cold water cascaded over him, he closed his eyes, trying to make sense of his emotions.
He knew he like Siya, but this felt different. It was as if every barrier between them was dissolving, leaving him vulnerable and exposed. Yet, instead of fear, he felt a profound sense of peace and contentment.
