The next day the whole town was in hysterics, Lady Andrews approached Hannah in the street to ask her if she had heard the news, which of course she hadn't. Three more body's had been found down stream near the hill where Tisha was found, these three bodies weren't local, Hannah had no doubt they were Klaus's men. never before had Alderberry scene so many untimely deaths, if only they knew they were all vampires. who ever this hunter was, he was good at remaining unseen, Hannah wondered if that was who had called her last night, his thick Scottish accent should have made him distinct but Hannah hadn't heard of any Scottish people moving into the village or being scene about the village, then again she wasn't exactly tuned into the towns gossip network.
Hannah had a few things to do in town before she was due to meet Collin and Chelsea, she promised her aunt she would drop some leaflets around the village, in the post office and so on, for the bake sale next week. Every conversation she had was about the deaths, Rose who worked in the post office was explaining how she thought there was a conspiracy going on here. She had no idea! In the Village tea room she heard from Holly Monroe that there were police detectives coming into the village tomorrow to take a look at the case. Hannah wasn't happy about even more strangers. In all, today Hannah had been tuned into the gossip she would normally ignore. She felt she needed to keep an eye on this situation, for her own safety.
The last stop Hannah made was to the pub to drop of the last of the leaflets. Tom Monroe, Husband of holly Monroe was working today. "Your aunt all ways makes the best Victoria sandwich!" he said pinning one of the papers to the wall, "i cant wait." he added and pored her a scotch, "your favorite!" he said and left her to it. Hannah had never really been a day drinker but she didn't want to offend him so she smiled and took a sip. "not often you see a lady drinking whiskey" a man said from across the bar, she followed the British voice she didn't recognise to a face, he had a rugged look about him, his slightly long brown hair fell onto his stubble lined face. He wore a tattered thick leather jacket, not the type that are worn for fashion but the type that would actually save you like if you fell of a motorbike. "your not local" she replied to him.
He move so he was sat next to her, "your right" he said, she looked him over again trying to identify if he was a vampire or not. "Klaus sent me, he wants me to keep an eye on you, its not safe with a hunter on the loose" he said. "you can tell Klaus i don't need protecting, i've got good instincts" she said finishing her drink and standing up, before she turned and left she noticed a ring on his finger, it was silver with a black stone welded in, she made note to ask Klaus about it before she walked out of the door.

That day Chelsea was still acting strange with Hannah. she knew Hannah was keeping a secret. Hannah wanted to tell her, but she knew that it would put her best Friend in danger. Collin sat with the two of them and Emma as they picked out bridesmaid dresses and colour themes, they wanted to get as much dome whilst Chelsea was here as they could, Hannah was distant for the most part, she would occasionally nod or agree with something, but her mind was to busy trying to think of what she could tell Chelsea and keep her out of harms way.
That evening she returned home and changed for her date with Klaus. She didn't know if it was a date, she didn't know were she stood with him at all but for now she was going to treat it like one. "hello love" he greeted her when he answered the door, "you look beautiful" he gestured to the out fit she threw together. she stepped inside and saw again the place had been transformed back into his home instead of a ball room. The mansion size and beauty never went unnoticed by Hannah, sometimes she chose to ignore it but it was all ways there. Klaus was a lot like the mansion, he was handsome, very handsome in fact, Hannah never failed to notice that, she just chose to ignore it sometimes.
She sat down at a finely decorated table and Klaus disappeared for a minute, she had been in this room once, she thought about that drunk day of boredom, she smashed three of the windows in here in her attempt to get out. Then she ripped open cushions and smashed chair legs in a mad attempt to arm herself, only to forget about it after a quarter of a bottle of scotch later. Klaus returned with a plate in both his hands, he put the starter down in front of her. "whats this all about?" She asked not sure she could sit threw a three course meal without knowing his motives. "what do you mean? just because i'm a vampire it doesn't mean i can't cook" he says refereeing to the cooking but she knew he knew what she meant. "not the meal. i mean all this" she gestured in at him, "you being nice to me, and totally out of character. Sending one of your creepy vampire minions to keep an eye on me" she said getting to the point.
He looked at her slightly confused, "the rugged looking bicker dude you sent to keep an eye on me today" she elaborated. "i didn't send anyone to look after you love" he said, "certainly not a 'rugged looking bicker dude'" he added. "then who was he?" she asked. Klaus like her had no idea who this guy was, she described him to him he still didn't know who she was talking about. When she mentioned the ring his spirit lifted slightly. "I think we've just found our hunter!" he said, Hannah meant to bring up the mysterious conversation on the phone last night to but it slipped her mind. Klaus insisted she eat and served up the other courses in near enough glee, like he had won even though he hadn't even began the fight.
Hannah had to admit Klaus was a good cook, they didn't say much since he served the starter but they managed to get threw a bottle of incredibly nice wine of a exceptional vintage between them. As she finished her desert she finally decided to speak, "so should i be worried that this hunter knows who i am and that i know what you are?" she asked, Klaus looked at her for a moment, almost as if he was deciding on the best course of action. "i don't know, hunters don't tend to harm humans too much" he said. "too much? i would rather none at thank you" she protested. She stood up quickly but found that he was all ready right in front of her before she could step away from the table. "i will protect you!" he said staring into her eyes, he expected that strange mind control thing he does but it didn't happen, he was so close you could feel his breath on her skin, "do you trust me?" he asked, Hannah had no reason to trust him, but right now she for some reason, did. "yes" she said but was so lost him his eyes she sounded distant, he lent in closer and kissed her, to her surprise, she kissed back.
Klaus POV.
He didn't know why he did it, kissing a human like this wasn't normal even for him. It just felt right, he was furious that the hunter approached her, and took delight in planning how he would take his life for bringing her into this. he was even more surprise when she kissed him back as passionately as his. This was so wrong, he shouldn't be doing this, he should be concentrating on finding a witch to break his curse, or killing the hunter; not getting involved with human girls, even ones as amazing as Hannah Garret. But as wrong as it was, it felt so right. After that they sat on the sofa in his study, she curled up in a woolly throw and he lit the fire, as he had guessed she was full of questions, he prayed she didn't ask about what he was looking for. he didn't want to tell her about the curse, he didn't want her to see him any differently yet. He answered all her questions but knew she felt like she had only scratched the surface. He has never felt like this before, like he was a human, and deserved to be loved.

Hannahs POV
Last nights events replayed themselves in Hannah's head, the dinner, the wine and the kiss. She wasn't even drunk, she just wanted to kiss him. She left the mansion at mid-night after talking to Klaus for hours, he told her allot about vampires and hunters. She got the basics, wooden stakes; yes, holy water; no. she no longer felt indifferent about Klaus, in fact she thought she was actually starting to like him. It was a sunny day today and the heat was unusually intense for a British summer, Hannah for a shower and changed into shorts and a plain shirt when she headed down stairs.
Uncle jack was sat at the breakfast table with Chelsea and aunt Elena was preparing something to eat. "good morning!" Hannah said in a chirpy voice reflecting how she felt on the inside. "where were you last night?" Chelsea asked immediately. "out" Hannah said, she was a little offended by Chelsea's attitude, she didn't think it was any of Chelsea's business where she was, as her best Friend Hannah understood she would want to know but demanding to know like that just sounded rude. Hannah got a glass of juice from the fridge and sat down. "john and i are heading into the city today, were going to see Allen in hospital, he's just had a operation on his ankle" aunt Elena told Hannah. Hannah didn't intend to spend the whole say in the cottage, she kind of wanted to go and see Klaus, but she also didn't want to seem desperate. he was just the only thing on her mind right now.
Chelsea interrupted Hannah's thoughts, "Han i though we could go for a walk or something" she said. Hannah looked at her confused, was she bi polar now? "sure" she said, "i'll go but some shoes on" she left the room. They left the house not long after and started there walk to no where in particular. "so whats going on with you recently?" Chelsea asked, Hannah didn't immediately answer the question "i'm not stupid Han, your easier to read then a book, your not telling me something" she added. Hannah really hated lying to her, yesterday she didn't have a choice, today she didn't want to tell her the truth. so she did the next best thing, she told her half the story. "i'm kind of seeing Klaus" she said and added before Chelsea could say anything " i know i told you i didn't like him and everything, but i got to know him a little and he's actually really nice." . Chelsea sighed and gave her a weary look, "just be careful." she said and they continued there walk.
