When Erik awoke the cool Winterhold breeze chilled him to the core. He found himself on a cart filled with the bodies of dead soldiers. "Ugh, damn the Oath-Breakers" Erik said, throwing himself off the moving wagon, his left leg bloody and broken. "Huh?" a raspy voice said, stopping the cart. A fairly built Dunmer man in robes stepped out of the cart, a red hand print on his forehead. "Oh, you're alive" the Dunmer said, kneeling in front of Erik. "Who are you?" Erik asked, rubbing his eyes and looking at the grey skinned elf. "My name is Fadril, who are you?" the Dunmer asked. "My name is Erik the Stone, son of Ulf Flame-Heart" Erik said, attempting to stand up but eventually falling. "Don't try to stand up, I'll take you to my cabin" Fadril said, emptying the rest of the bodies out of the cart and putting Erik in a seat. Fadril rode the cart all the way to a wooden home in a winter forrest. "Come on" Fadril said, carrying the wounded Erik and laying him down on a hay and fur bed. "Thank you for your help Fadril" Erik said, resting his head on a pillow. "It's all right, I'll get you a potion to heal you" Fadril said, opening a cupboard and taking out a red bottle. Fadril handed it to Erik who downed the whole bottle and put it at his side. "I feel much better now" Erik said, standing up. "Were are you going?" Fadril asked Erik. "I'm going to Windhelm, I need to warn King Hulgar that the Oath-Breakers have destroyed Fort Blackmoor, I need to do anything I can to avenge those who died in the Crimson Feast" Erik said. Fadril seemed confused "Crimson Feast?" he asked. "Aye, two years ago King Onmig, the last Dragonborn king held a feast for his coronation, at the time the Breton's gave mountains of gold and gems to the Western Nords to kill the king. Then that same night Velred the Unhonorable stabbed the king and all his court to death, including my father" Erik said. "I'm...sorry for your loss" Fadril said. "Thank you, but I must get going" Erik said, opening the door. "I'm coming with you Erik, you're gonna need me to help you survive" Fadril stated. "Alright then, lets go" Erik said, opening the door and stepping out into the wilderness
