The anticipation of the antidote was like a ticking clock in Beomgyu's mind, each day a countdown to when everything would revert to normal—or at least to what it had been before the potion incident. Sungmin worked tirelessly in the greenhouse, carefully measuring and mixing ingredients under the watchful eye of Professor Lee.

Meanwhile, Beomgyu's life had become a delicate balancing act. Managing Yeonjun's affection, maintaining his own sanity, and keeping the secret from spreading all at once was no small feat. Yet, amidst the chaos, he couldn't deny a growing warmth in his heart for Yeonjun. The lines between potion-induced love and real feelings blurred more with each passing day.

On the fourth day, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Beomgyu found himself alone in the library. He was supposed to be researching for a class project, but his thoughts were elsewhere. The antidote was still three days away, and the weight of everything pressed heavily on his shoulders.

A soft voice interrupted his thoughts. "Beomgyu?"

He looked up to see Hueningkai standing there, concern etched on his face. "Hey, Kai. What's up?"

Hueningkai sat down next to him, lowering his voice. "I wanted to check in on you. I know this has been really hard."

Beomgyu sighed, rubbing his temples. "It's... a lot. But we're almost there. Sungmin says the antidote should be ready on time."

Hueningkai nodded, his expression serious. "Yeah, but what about you? How are you holding up with Yeonjun?"

Beomgyu hesitated, then shook his head. "I don't know, Kai. It's confusing. I know it's the potion, but sometimes... it feels real."

Hueningkai placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Whatever happens, we're here for you. We'll figure it out together."

Before Beomgyu could respond, Taehyun and Soobin walked in, carrying stacks of books. "Hey, guys," Taehyun greeted, dropping the books onto the table with a thud. "We found some interesting stuff that might help us understand the potion better."

Soobin nodded, sitting down and opening a book. "We’ve been reading up on similar potions and their side effects. It might give us a clue about what to expect when the antidote kicks in."

Beomgyu's interest piqued. "Like what?"

"Like how the person might feel once the potion's influence wears off," Taehyun explained. "There could be a range of emotions, from confusion to anger. We need to be prepared for anything."

Beomgyu's heart sank a little. "So Yeonjun might be upset?"

"It's possible," Soobin said gently. "But we’ll deal with it when it happens. The important thing is that we’re ready."

As they continued to discuss their findings, Beomgyu couldn’t help but feel a mixture of dread and hope. The antidote was their only chance to set things right, but it also meant facing the reality of Yeonjun’s true feelings—and his own.

---

On the fifth day, Beomgyu found himself outside the greenhouse, watching as Sungmin meticulously worked on the antidote. The process was intricate, requiring precise timing and attention to detail.

Sungmin glanced up, noticing Beomgyu’s presence. "Hey, Beomgyu-ssi. Just checking in?"

Beomgyu nodded. "Yeah. How’s it going?"
