Stelle returned the smile, it was a soft one, making you feel at ease. She then let go of your hand and returned back to her nonchalant expression, looking at March 7th who had her hands clasped together and looking at the both of you with excitement as if she's seeing something rare.
You turned your head as well to March, letting your hand Linger in the air before letting it fall back to your side.
" So why have you brought me here? What is this place? " Stelle asked, making you look back at her.
" The space station of course! Kinda like a safe zone. " March 7th squealed. " It's a bit exciting to have someone new here! "
" You still haven't said WHY I'm here. " Stelle said plainly, stressing on the word why a little.
" Oh sorry.. " March 7th giggled, putting her hands on her hips as she looked around. " We have a mission here of course, and a chance to prove yourself if you're a super cool member like me! "
" Of what? "
" The astral express crew of course! "
" Slow down there March, no need to get riled up. " You looked at March with furrowed brows, her smile slightly faltering. You then looked back at Stelle, smiling softly.
" She can be a hassle sometimes, I'm sorry. How was she on the way? "
Stelle looked back at you, crossing her arms. " She is... " She took a pause. " Alright. " Stelle shrugged, her eyes trailing off. You chuckled, turning your head back to March.
" Alright enough bonding, even though it's nice. We need to figure out what happened on the ship! " March 7th said with determination, grabbing Stelles hand which caused her to let out a small squeal. Your eyes narrowed slightly, did they create some kinda friendship already? Nah.. This was normal March behavior. But the sight made you feel oddly weird, now that you had a new person in front of you — you genuinely wanted to get to know her more. It might even be a change from the other personalities here. So you decided to say something you might regret soon on.
" May I come on this mission with you both? " You muttered, looking away and smoothening your lab coat.
March 7th was shocked, Even Asta stopped her work and looked at you with confusion. " You want to go on a.. Mission with them?" She asked.
You nodded in response, your smile widening but a bit of sweat dripping down your forehead. " Aw come on, let her join please! " March 7th begged Asta, letting go of stelle and clasping her hands together — making puppy dog eyes. Asta sighed.
" Fine I suppose you can go this once, but just be careful alright? And check if you might see Arlan anywhere. Im worried sick and can't find him , and i do have this on my hands. " Asta nodded, gesturing to the hologram screen. March 7th's face lit up, she then grabbed Your hands and stelles.
" Alright! We promise to find Arlan for you in the process, let's go Y/n and stelle! " March 7th then dragged you off the platform, you looked back at Asta who just seemed to give a soft smile and a wave — returning to her work. You then looked back at Both March 7th and Stelle, smiling.
The three of you reached towards where Himeko and Dan heng were, making them look at you three. " Ah, it seems everything went well then? " Himeko asked, sipping the cup of tea she had in her hands as she smiled.
" Yep! We also have y/n joining us on this mission! " March responded, pointing to you with a grin. Himeko seemed shocked by the situation while Dan heng... Normal as always.
" That's definitely a pleasure. " Dan heng muttered, blushing slightly and looking away.
" Aw come on, the more the merrier aren't I right? " March asked, letting go of both of you.
" Just.. Stop march-" You retreated, patting her shoulder.
" Huh.. " Himeko hummed, lowering the glass. " Well, a researcher would be of use in this situation. So it is acceptable. " Himeko nodded, sipping the tea once more.
" Welcome to the crew, Y/n! " March 7th looked back at you, having the same grin on her face.
