The silence was quite peaceful, the atmosphere adding a certain vibe to it. You looked at Dan heng, smiling as he didn't notice. You were about to open your mouth to say something, but were instantly cut off by a loud voice - making you flinch.
" EVERYONE! WE HAVE REACHED OUR DESTINATION! " The voice echoed, you looking at the place of where it came from — it was that little bunny creature.. Pom pom? Yeah, pom pom. They tapped on the loudspeaker they had, in an annoyed manner.
" Seems like Pom-pom already announced our Leave. " Dan heng spoke, nudging you by the shoulder. " Let us go then. " He walked past you, and you followed. March and Stelle seemed to be behind you. As you reached the exit of the express, you felt a tug on your leg which you probably knew who it was. You looked down to see Pom pom who had a pout on their face, you giggled.
" What is it? " You asked, patting their head. They seemed to be annoyed by the action, pushing your hand away.
" Do not pat Pom pom! " They hissed, clearing their throat. " Pom pom will warn you.. " They said with their child like voice, taking a pause. " When you go through the door, you will be teleported to the destination. So do not be afraid if you feel woozy! "
You looked behind, seeing Stelle getting out and somehow being stretched as if she entered a portal, you raised your brow and looked back at Pom - Pom.
" Why can't we just walk? "
" Apparently they say it is a faster way, I think it's just lazy. " Pom pom scoffed, looking away. You chuckled, shrugging.
" Alright alright, I'll take your advice. You take care too. "
Pom pom looked back at you, nodding and giving you a small wave. You looked back at where Himeko and Welt were, they were taking with each other. Welt noticed you and looked in your direction, giving you a nod. You waved at Him, turning to the exit and entering.
You instantly felt like you were being stretched and were travelling at 100 miles per hour. You held onto your lab coat and all you could see was blue. You closed your eyes, hoping it would help. You felt like your skin was about to fly off, until..

You saw something in the far off distance, something like a snow plain? You were getting closer and closer every second and the blue was fading away. A few seconds later you fell far off onto the ground landing face first, instantly feeling snow underneath you. You lifted your head up and were met with the sight of what you saw a few seconds ago. You got up— coughing out a bit of snow that was in your mouth. You then brushed your labcoat with your hands.
" HEY Y/N! COME HERE! " You heard a loud voice , it was probably March like always. You walked a bit further and saw your trio standing around something.
" Guys whats-"
Stelle moved aside a little , to show you what it was. It was a flower like thing, except it was rotting or had a yellowish tint? You narrowed your eyes, taking out your phone.
" You guys I'll just search it up, you three go and find out the way to our mission location. " You stated.
They all nodded, walking away and giving you a better look at the thing. You were about to click a picture of it until you saw a message notification pop up, it was Welt. You opened it up.
" Hello Y/N, have you reached? " The message read.
You typed back. " Yes Mr. Yang, I did. But what is this? " You then clicked a picture and attached it to the message, you as a researcher didn't even know what the thing was.. How embarassing.
It took a few seconds for Welt to respond.
" That is a Calyx. They are mysterious entities that hold reality data. We do not know where they , or how, they came. "
You looked back at the entity, touching it and it slightly burning your fingers, you pulled back. You typed back..
" Okay thank you Mr. Yang. How are you and Himeko doing? "
" I am a little worried for you four, Himeko is doing fine. "
You chuckled as you read the message, classic Welt. " We'll be fine Mr. Yang. Just take care of yourself. "
Welt took longer to respond, but he sent a thumbs up sticker of himself in a chibi like version. How did he get that?! You should ask later though, didn't wanna keep your trio waiting. You scrolled more on the messages app as you walked, snow crunching beneath your feet. You then saw another message pop up, it was Pom-Pom.
" Hey! Have you reached? "
How did they get your number? It seemed like you had the entire crews number which you didn't recall getting.. You typed back.
" I did.. How did you get my number? "
"Pom pom snuck into your room and gave you everyone's number, including mine. " They typed back, attaching a grinning chibi like Pom-Pom sticker. Even Pom-Pom had it? Before you could respond, you were already caught up with your group.
" Hey who are you texting, Y/N? " Stelle was now beside you, peering over your shoulder. March joined in. " Yeah, who is it? ~"
You instantly closed your phone, putting it inside your Labcoat pocket. " No one. "
Dan heng sighed. " Give them some privacy you both. "
Stelle and March rolled their eyes in unison. " Fine, we're sorry! " March pouted, lookig away as you continued walking.
As you walked, you felt a muffled scream from somewhere but you couldn't figure out from where it was coming from. Every step you took, it became more clear. The others didn't seem to mind it though.
You stopped beside a spot near the side. " Guys, wait. "
Dan heng, March and stelle stopped. They looked at where you were looking at.. the snow was moving.
You raised a brow, walking closer to it. "Y/N, be careful. " Dan heng said with a tone of concern but still had the coldness in it. You stopped and kneeled down, the scream was louder and made you flinch. You instantly dug the snow up with your hands, the shape was becoming more clearer.
