Ikki tapped his foot impatiently while sitting on the chair in front of you- who looked as unnerved and chill as always.
‘She doesn't give a f*ck either. Just like before- infact even worse.’
“So, you said you want to talk to me about something important...” You started- a little weirded out by his stare, “What is it?”
“Talk to you? Of course I want to talk to you. I'm just not too sure if you want to talk to me, though.” He muttered out.
‘..?’ You simply blinked, ‘What the f*ck was that?’
Realising what he just said- Ikki coughed awkwardly, “I just wanted to talk to someone, that's all.”
“I see...” You nodded, believing his words. When one is faced with set-backs, they usually seek for comfort. Not everyone gets it, though.
Not knowing what to say next, you decided to change the topic, “Say, Niko. Have we met before?”
He flinches visibly, but unfortunately, you didn't noticed.
“I mean... You look kinda familiar for some reason. Not to mention you used my first name. I was a little surprised, but decided not to show it.”
He remained silent for a minute- contemplating the right words to say.
“..We played with each other before, that's all.” Was all he could say.
There was no point in expressing the truth, knowing it won't change anything. He wanted to scream his feelings out- How he always used to think whenever playing Soccer... But there was no use of it.
You nodded again- buying the lie. In your mind, it was logical, after all. Except for the first name basic part-
