Three fucking weeks. It's been three weeks since we were able to get into the kennel-cam, but we are nowhere close to figuring out exactly where this damn place is. We were able to see Zoe get wheeled back from the mystery surgery, and she was asleep for almost three weeks.

That is until Brandon sprained into the gym and collected the rest of us, to let us know Zoe was awake and talking to the camera.

We had no leads, until now. My smart little hurricane got us a fucking lead. Names, legal names which are even better. When we finally stopped celebrating at the new found info, Khal walked into her room. We saw him, clear as day. The man that made us, molded us, and then broke us, just to put us back together again. Misshapen, disconnected, and mangled, but together nonetheless.

Finally we found out exactly what the surgery was.

Disappointment crossed all of our faces. We never said it out loud, but I think we all envisioned having children, and building a family with Zoe. But more than anything, I think we felt sad for her.

A decision so private and precious was stolen from her, violated.

We all arched as she switched, as she reshaped herself into the form we are familiar with . Zoe had gone numb, and we saw the moment The Sparrow returned and Zoe was tucked far far away to avoid whatever mental hurt this mutilation might be causing her.

"Fuck!" Brandon yells and his fists smash again as his keyboard, shattering it to pieces. He's gone through a lot of them these last three weeks. I think he's replaced it at least six times.

Teddy didn't say anything, but his seething fury was roiling off of his skin as he stormed out of the room. He's done well, considering. We haven't needed to sedate him, thankfully. But we are now seeing him getting closer and closer to that edge, however I can't blame him. I don't think any of us can. We are all jealous and wish we could rage as freely as he does.

We all expected Khal to leave the room after his revelation, but he continued to say, "You know they handed you over to me right?" And I felt my skin heat at the insinuation that we are somehow involved in her getting blind-sided. "After all, they are all more than well trained, surely you didn't think that my little organization was able to outsmart them? They never wanted you." Kahl said.

He's manipulating her. Trying to make her lose faith in us, he's trying to wear her down and lose all hope for escape. He wants her to kick us out of her head.

"This fucking guy." Max growls under his breath, but we all continue to listen in.

Khal is turned away from the camera, so despite not being able to see his face, I just know the fate pitying smile he's giving her. I know that face all too well, it was one he's always use on Brandon to make him believe he was the weak link.

"They never wanted me." Zoe's voice repeats, her tone completely void of the girl that we all fell in love with.

"That's right." Khal confirmed. "So now your only purpose is to serve this organization. If you fail to prove yourself as my prized weapon, then I suppose we'll have to dispose of you. Originally we were just going to kill you if you proved yourself useless, however, after knowing all the things you were willing to do for the Karma's, we've decided to just pass you to the trafficking. I'm sure The Sparrow would go for a pretty penny, and I'd like to at least get some sort of a return on my investment."

Khal's words echo in my brain, and I realize that if she doesn't prove herself for as long as possible, we might lose her to a much much worse fate.

"Do you understand?" Khal asks, as he tucks that white streak of hair behind Zoe's ear.
