Brooke's POV~
I walked out of my dressing room fully suited in my costume. "This is so cool!" I was wearing a black tank top with a red and black flannel tied around my waist, tight ripped blue jeans, and brown combat boots. All of the clothes were distressed and had stains all over them, making them look super ratchet
They gave me a red bandana they instructed me to tie around my upper left arm, indicating a cut from my knife while running away from walkers. I heard a knock on my door and opened it, revealing Chandler Riggs standing at my door.
"Hey! I'm Chandler Riggs and I was told you were going to be joining the TWD family!" I laughed "I know who you are. So what's up?" I asked with a smile on my face, trying so hard to be calm. "Um, I was told to show you around set, and get you to hair and makeup.
"K cool." I said with a smirk on my face. Ugh god he's so hot! "Okay so over here is my trailer. Knock anytime if you need anything at all. And over here is the main set, I think you've already seen that! And in this building is costumes, hair, and makeup. You go to costumes if something happens to your costume."
I nodded taking it all in. So this is where I'll be working for a while. "Brooke Montgomery to hair and makeup! Brooke Montgomery to hair and makeup!" The loud intercom blared. "I guess that's my cue. See you around?" I yelled as I started running to hair and makeup. I looked Back and saw him smiling at me, which made me get butterflies.
"Sorry! I'm here!" "Okay please sit in this chair and we will start your makeup!" The nice lady responded as she started taking off my makeup. She only applied bronzer and a liquid substance that looked like dirt she also applied a bit of sunblock. She fishtail braided my hair and made it look super messy which I loved.
"Okay, you're done!" The lady said "and by the way, my name is Jennifer, but you can call me Jenn. "Okay thanks Jenn!" I sang as I jogged out of hair and makeup. "All cast members on set! All cast members on set!" The intercom once again screamed.
I found Chandler on my way over there, so I didn't have to worry about getting lost. The first thing I saw when I walked into the prison set was the cast and crew. Steven Yuen, Lauren Cohan, Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Emily Kinney and Danai Gurira. I swear I almost fainted at the time.
Everybody's attention went right on Chandler and I, well mostly me. "So this is the famous Brooke we've been hearing about?" Steven smiled as he walked over to me. "Hey!, Steven right?" Of course I knew who he was. After catching up on the show, I've actually have become a huge fan.
"That's right. And this is Lauren, Andy, Norman, Emily, And Danai!" He said enthusiastically. "Nice to meet you guys!" I said trying to not totally faint from their presence. "Okay we need Brooke to come outside and into her position!" Robert yelled from the director's chair.
I quickly nodded and gave small goodbyes to everyone as I jogged to the outside of the prison with Robert and the makeup crew. "So your first scene is going to be Callie, your character, running away from a herd of walkers. You good with that?" Robert asked quickly. I gave a small yes and got to my position, ready to go.
The rest of the cast walked out from the prison set watching me do my first scene. "Okay, cameras....and Action!" I heard from behind me. I then started running, sprinting like I was instructed. I was supposed to run to the fences of the gates. "Help! Help me can anyone hear me?!" I screamed as I shook the gates. "Good!" I heard again from behind me. I had to do it a few more times but they decided on the first one.
"Okay we need Andrew on set, Andrew on set!" Robert spoke into the tiny microphone. About 3 minutes later he finally made it.
SCENE------
"Who are you?" Andrew asked with concern in his voice.
"I'm Callie. Please just let me in!" I screamed as the 'walkers' drew closer.
"We're you bit?" He asks, acting like he didn't care whether I died or not.
"No! I promise!" I cried. "Then what's up with your arm?" He asked. I'll tell you if you'd just let me in!" I screamed getting annoyed.
"How many people have you killed?" Andy asked with anger growing throughout his questions.
"One. But only because she didn't want to become one of those sick things." I said sadly as I looked back.
"Follow me. Welcome to the family." Andy finished off.
END OF SCENE------
"Nice. I like this one! You guys are done!" Robert enthusiastically yelled out into the mic. I laughed and looked over to Andy, who gave me a fist bump through the holes of the gate. "Nice acting, Brooke!" "Thanks!" I smiled as I ran back to the main set.
"Nice job, Brooke!" Emily and Lauren said at the same time. "Thanks guys!" I laughed as I walked tiredly back to my trailer. As I opened the door it surprised me to see Chandler. "Hey, they need you on set." "They do? Sorry I'm in here I just needed to ask you something." Chandler voiced with Confidence.
"Fire away!" I sang to the song I learned on guitar hero. "Wow. Nice voice." Chandler spoke in awe. It kinda made me blush. "Thanks. I usually just sing in the shower, so it's nice to hear some feedback." I said smiling. "No problem. You're really talented!" Chandler said with a smile.
"So your question?" I asked after a long period of silence and being stared at by Chandler. "Oh, right!" "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come over tomorrow night to run over some lines for the finally. I always need a buddy for that." Chandler said biting his lip and looking down.
"I'd love to!" I almost screamed as I hugged Chandler. "Okay I'll pick you up at 6:30?" "See you then." I smiled as he shut the door. This was the silver lining of being on a zombie show.
