(Nigel's Pov)
*locker room*
Sitting down on the bench, I prepare myself for the 2 man war. I look at my hands, wrapped up and gloved. I take a deep breathe. One of the staff members walks in.
"Nigel...it is time."
I nod as I stand up.
"Alright"

...

I walk towards the arena, the seats full of people, cheering and yelling. I see My whole family in front of the cage door. Yuki runs up to me and gives me one more hug before the fight.

"Be careful in there."

"I will...don't worry"

I step into the cage, across from me was Joao, that knuckle head looking down at me. I ain't scared...I'm determined. This is the moment that decides the life of me...my wife...and my sun. The ref stands between us

"Alright...I want a good clean fight...no

"We know how this works...just start the fight!" Joao impatiently spouted.

The ref nods and chops between us, signifying the beginning of the fight. I rush in fast, and I begin landing a series of punches to his abdomen, but to my dismay, he tanks the hits. He retaliates by raising his arm with his fist curled, then brings it down. I dodge out of the way and return with a flying knee kick, but he swats me away with a back hand, sending me into the fence. I get back up and jump off the fence, going for his head, but he claps my entire body between his hands, then slams me into the ground...he then gets to his knees and proceeds to unleash a barrage of punches, each one covering up half of my body. I get more beating and bruised with every blow. After about a few hundred hits, he gets up and backs up.

"You had enough...weakling?"

I lay their in the perfectly shaped dent of me in the ring he left after his onslaught. My face and body covered head to toe in wounds. I felt like giving up...I felt like a fool...I couldn't take him...I decided to close my eyes and wait for the count...but then I heard them. The voices of my family, the reason I chose to do this fight.

"Nigel"

"You got this"

"Fight"

"Win"

"Let that sucka know!!"

I can't let them down now...not after all we've been through. I get up slowly, still feeling the pain from Joao's punches.

"Oh...the little kitty still want to play."

I didn't respond to his taunts...I got back into a fighting stance.

"Very well then...your funeral."

He cocked back his arm and prepared to throw a haymaker. I stood my ground...unfazed. He throws the punch...I dodged, moving faster then the human eye.

"What the...where did he go?"

I appear beside him, delivering a punch to his face, he staggers back a bit.

"Why you- what?!"

He backs up a bit as he looks at me...my eyes were pure red and glowing as a dark purple aura surrounds me. I punch in his direction, sending an energy blast at him, causing him to stagger back. The entire crowd goes silent...they never seen this before in the history of MMMMA...in fact...the judges checked the rule book...and there is nothing against what I'm doing...so I'm technically not cheating.

I then begin teleporting around him, landing devastating blows as he tries to keep up. As he gets tired, I grab him by the leg and spin him around. I then throw him up high into the air, teleport above him at the climax of the throw, and fire a beam of energy at him, sending him crashing back into the ring. I pin him to the floor as the ref makes the count

"1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9...10. Knock out...we have a winner...Nigel...Senicourt"

He raises my arm in victory, everyone was cheering for me, celebrating the rise of a new champion. Finally...this is the start of a better life for me...and my family.

(Fucking finally...it took me so god damn long to get to this part. I can finally finish wrapping up this story and work on "Gods of the Black". Just two more chapters left.)
