The Missing Prince

Chapter 3 'The break'

So as you know im living with the prince and I don’t know he’s the prince. I learned lots of things from him and I ACTUALLY am having a proper life. I think. So Jack and I are walking through the village outside the forest getting food and stuff. Jack is keeping a low profile while I get the things we need right. Then this idiot let his guard down and a child. A CHILD. A god d*mn CHILD! Pulled his cloak off and everyone saw him. Me being the oblivious person I am thought it was fine until all of the people in the village were swarming Jack and asking him a million questions. And that is when I realized Jack was the person I was looking for. I WAS LIVING WITH THE PRINCE!!! And he never told me. Like I could be home by now. but no. this idiot decided not to tell me sh*t and send me on a wild goose chase. Jack ran back into the forest and back to his cottage. I went back after I got the things we needed and there he was standing in the doorway waiting for me. 

“You the prince,” I say with an unamused tone. Im pissed right now and trying not to yell. I don't like yelling.

“Yes.” he responded. ’yes’ all he had to say was YES! What a doofus. 

“And why didn’t you tell me,” I say with annoyance. 

“I don’t want to go back. Not until I find the royal dragon that is.” Jack responded still dead toned. Im fuming at this point and im trying not to blow my top. 

“The royal dragon! THE ROYAL DRAGON! ARE YOU INSANE! THAT THING PROBABLY DOESN’T EVEN EXIST ANYMORE!” I yell, pissed off at his stupidity. The royal dragon is a one-in-a-million chance of being found. He’s stupid!

“I have entail about its whereabouts so I will find it,” Jack said as if he were a main character of an anime. He is not. I was too pissed to speak. So I just took a walk, completely forgetting about the dragons that roamed around. 

After about an hour or so of walking, I got lost. I tried walking in the opposite direction I came from but got even more lost. Then I ran into a star dragon. Im screwed. I slowly backed away because the dragon was sleeping and I didn’t want to wake it up. But my dumb a*s tripped and woke the dragon. 

‘Im dead’ I thought to myself as the dragon woke up and looked at me. But to my surprise all the star dragon did was look at me and then flop its head on me. That confused the hell out of me. ‘What the hell?!’ 

I just lay there waiting for the dragon to get off of me. After hours of waiting, Jack finally found me and he laughed. 

“Shut up a*sh*le and help me!” I yelled at him. Jack reluctantly helped me, he dragged me back to the cottage. I was still upset at him I didn’t speak to him, nor did I look at his stupid face.

“Alex look at me,” Jack demanded but still I was silent and didn’t look at him. I grabbed my jacket and I still didn’t want to look at Jack’s face. I was about to walk out again when Jack grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him. Making me look him in the eye AND he would f*ck’n let go of me! “You’re not leaving again Alex.”

“Let go of me!” I demanded annoyed and I tried to push him away but to no avail. Jack held me and would not let go.

“Im not letting you leave again,” Jack said and still held me in place, not letting me f*ck’n leave. 

“A*sh*le….”   

“Say again.?” 

“Nothing” 

“Alex. im not letting go of you until I know you won’t try and leave again.” 

“Uugh! Fine, I won't leave again.” 

“Good” 

“You’re impossible.” 

“Sure” 

Jack finally let go of me and like I said I didn’t leave. But I was still mad at him. I went into the other room and flopped on the bed. I was honestly pretty tired from all the walking I did. ‘Jacks so annoying…’ I thought to myself as I fell asleep. But what I didn’t know is that I just screwed myself over big time.
