Chapter 43

It was nighttime and Jack and Autumn were still in bed. Autumn was the first to wake up and Jack was still asleep. Autumn giggled and tried to wake up Jack.

Autumn: Jack. Wake up.

Jack: No. I don't wanna wake up.

Autumn: Well, I have to take a shower.

Autumn got up and headed to the bathroom. Jack decided to wake up and he sat on the bed. He looked at the ground and waited for Autumn.

Jack: I wish we didn't sleep the rest of the day. But, I feel like I wanna go back to bed for some reason.

Orion: Heh. I'm sure there are people that have been there Jack.

Jack: I guess I'm not the only one then.

Orion: Who knows?

Jack: Well, I guess I should lay down until Autumn gets back.

Orion: You do that.

Jack laid down on his bed and was about to fall asleep on the bed. 10 minutes passed and Jack heard the shower turn off. He got back up and he rubbed his eyes.

Jack walked out of his bedroom and in front of the bathroom door. He knocked on the door.

Autumn: Yes?

Jack: Do you have any towels in there?

Autumn: Yeah.

Jack: Okay. I just wanted to make sure.

Jack was about to head back into his room until the bathroom door opened. Jack quickly looked away and blushed. Autumn giggled and looked at Jack.

Autumn: What's the matter Jack?

Jack: You're not wearing your clothes.

Autumn: I sleep like you and you don't wear clothes at all.

Jack felt stupid and he remembered he was covered in fur. He was still blushing and he looked at Autumn.

Jack: Uh. You look soft.

Autumn; Thank you. I couldn't help but notice you had some lavender scented shampoo in there.

Jack: Yeah. I like lavender.

Autumn: Me too. I love how it smells.

Jack: It does smell good.

Autumn: Well, it's your turn. Don't take all the hot water.

Jack: I take warm showers, not hot ones.

Autumn: I'm just saying to not take all the hot water. You know?

Jack: I know.

Autumn walked out of the bathroom and he had his clothes in his hand. Jack couldn't help but to look at Autumn at the corner of his eye.

Autumn: I know youre looking at me.

Jack: No I'm not. How would you know?

Autumn: I can tell you're looking at me.

Jack: Fine. I am looking at you.

Autumn: See? That wasn't so hard, was it?

Autumn walked to Jack and wrapped his arms on Jack's shoulders. Jack blushed and looked at Autumn. Autumn giggled and began kissing Jack's lips.

Jack put his hands on Autumn's hips and Autumn let out a soft moan. After a few seconds, they stopped kissing and they looked at each other.

Autumn: I forgot how good your kiss was.

Jack: Same. Man, that felt good.

Autumn: There's plenty more where that came from. I can give you more if you want.

Jack: I have to take a shower. When I get myself dried up, the we can kiss and sleep together.

Autumn: Okay then.

Jack walked in the bathroom and Autumn walked back in Jack's room. He put his pile of clothes on the chair in front of Jack's table. Autumn then laid down on his stomach on Jack's bed.

Orion: So, did you two have a good kiss?

Autumn: Yeah. It has been a day since we kissed.

Orion: And he still has it?

Autumn: Yeah. I'm glad I'm spending the night.

Orion: Me too. But, I'm a little surprised that Jack hasn't gotten a girlfriend.

Autumn: Me too. But, he did have a crush on Rusty's and they got together. Then, I told Jack I also like him and he didn't seem to mind.

Orion: I know. I've actually been a part of Jack since Monday. He has been through a lot over the last 17 years.

Autumn: I do feel bad he had to suffer like that. I just wish he never got that curse in the first place.

Orion: Me too. I wish I save him earlier.

After 10 minutes the shower stopped and Autumn's tail was wagging.

Autumn: Finally.

After a couple of minutes, Jack walked in his room and saw Autumn laying in his stomach on the bed. Jack blushed but he laid down next to Autumn.

Jack: You've been waiting haven't you?

Autumn: Yes I have.

Jack and Autumn cuddled each other and they feel asleep.
