Chapter 42

Drake had arrived back at Jack's house and was lucky nobody saw that he was a demon. He laid down on the couch and sighed.

Drake: This day has been exhausting. I need something to drink.

Drake got up from the couch and walked to the fridge. He opened it and grabbed a grape soda. Before he would lay back on the couch, he decided to see if Jack got home.

He walked to Jack's room and quietly opened the door. He saw Autumn and Jack hugging each other while they slept. He closed the door back and smiled.

Drake: It looks like Jack has a new boyfriend. Such a lucky man.

Drake opened his soda and took a sip. He walked back to the living room and laid back down on the couch.

Drake: Heh. I guess Jack is lucky after all. Though, I feel like something is wrong.

Drake took another sip of his soda and sighed. Just then, he heard the door open and he looked to see Mindy.

Drake: Hi Mindy. How was work?

Mindy: It was the usual.

Drake: Just like every other work day huh?

Mindy: Yeah. Is Jack home yet?

Drake: He is. He sleeping with someone in his room.

Mindy: He is? Who's the lucky person?

Drake: I think it's best if you see for yourself. I don't know his name.

Mindy headed to Jack's room and Drake took a sip of his soda. She arrived at Jack's room and quietly opened the door.  She smiled and closed the door back.

Mindy walked back to the living room and Drake made room for her and she sat down.

Drake: Who is that Jack is sleeping with?

Mindy: I think Jack said his name was Autumn.

Drake: Heh. As in the season Autumn.

Mindy: I just hope Jack doesn't have too much boyfriends.

Drake: I can already imagine how painful it is.

Earlier, Spam and Vanexa were waiting for the others.

Spam: Hey Vanexa. What are you reading?

Vanexa: It's a romance novel. I began reading romance books since started dating.

Spam sat next to her and put his hand on hers. She looked at with a slight smile and a blush on her face. Spam looked embarrassed and he had a bigger blush on his face.

Spam: Sorry. I did that without thinking.

Vanexa: Don't be sorry. If anything, it only added more love to this relationship.

Vanexa began kissing Spam on the cheeks and he blushed like crazy. His face was tomato red and he looked away. Vanexa giggled and made him look back at her.

Vanexa: Don't look away from me darling.

Spam: I'm sorry. It's just I didn't expect you to be lovey dovey on me.

Vanexa: It's okay. You like it when I'm like this don't you?

Spam: I actually do. Sorry if that's weird.

Vanexa: It's not weird. It makes you more adorable.

Spam: Thanks.

The doors opened and Zill and Kayla walked in. Vanexa and Spam looked and they began walking to the stage.

Vanexa: Where's Jack?

Zill: He said he didn't want to be here today.

Spam: Why?

Zill: I think he's not in the mood to be here.

Kayla: I wish he was here though.

The door opened again and Damian walked through. He flew down to the stage and landed on the ground. Kayla ran up to him and hugged him.

Damian: How is my beautiful Kayla doing?

Kayla: I'm doing good. But Jack didn't want to be here today.

Damian: Jack didn't want to be here?

Kayla: He wasn't in the mood to be here.

Damian: Oh. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?

Kayla: Can you give me a kiss on the cheek?

Damian smirked and kissed Kayla on the cheek. She felt a bit better. Kayla laid her head on Damian's chest and smiled.

Kayla: Thank you Damian.

Damian: You're welcome Kayla.

Vanexa: It seems like someone has gotten attached to you.

Damian: Yeah. Well, she is beautiful after all. I can't believe how lucky I am.

Kayla: You are lucky Damian. Very lucky.

Spam: You two make a great couple.

Damian: I should say the same for you two. You guys are cute together.

Spam: Thank you. Vanexa has been all lovey dovey and reading romance novels.

Zill: Really now?

Spam: Yeah.

Vanexa: Want me to kiss you on the cheek?

Spam shyly nodded his head and she kissed him on the cheek. They both hugged each other and smiled.
