The door shut behind Gale and she tossed her keys on the counter before plopping onto the couch. "I'm so done with college."

"Preach, dude." One of Gale's roommates, Eleanor, walked in, a bag of chips in her hand. She offered the bag to Gale, who shook her head. Eleanor shrugged and tossed the bag onto the small table in front of couch. She moved to sit down as well, and Gale quickly sat upright before the brunette could land on her. She wouldn't hesitate to.

"Eleanor, quit leaving your trash everywhere."

Eleanor rolled her eyes at Cassie, who picked up the half-empty chip bag on the table. "Actually, it still had food in it, so it wasn't technically trash."

Cassie deadpanned at Eleanor, who raised her hands in surrender before shouting. "Vince, your girlfriend's back!"

"Three."

"Two…" Eleanor added to the countdown Cassie began.

"One," Cassie finished, the blonde pointing to the stars.

It was then that footsteps could be heard coming down the steps and Eleanor snickered.

"Hey, Gale."

"Hi." Gale stood up to hug Vince, standing on her toes to hug her boyfriend, who pecked her cheek before they pulled away.

"Gale still has to be on her tippie-toes," Cassie pointed out, sharing a look with Eleanor, who was smirking as she held back a giggle.

"Shut up."

-

"What are you doing?"

Eleanor turned from the stove and Gale looked up from the floor to look at Cassie, who stood sleepily rubbing her eye.

"Midnight snack," Eleanor shrugged, turning back to the stove.

"And Gale?"

"Midnight observer," Eleanor shrugged again. Cassie looked at Gale, who was sat on the counter, hugging her knees to her chest and resting her chin on her legs. Gale looked up to give the blonde a thumbs up. Cassie furrowed her eyebrows and sighed. "Just finish and then hurry up and go to bed."

"Yup."

-

Gale threw her head onto her pillow and stared up, the dark of her room flooding her vision until they closed.

Athens.

It's where Gale constantly found herself when she would dream.

Whenever she would know she was dreaming, that is.

She wasn't complaining, she adored it here.

The faint sound of rock music could be heard from a nearby building and Gale turned around, trying to find the source.

She proceeded what had to be East, since it was the opposite way of the fiery sunset.

She pulled the door open, almost falling back as it disappeared and she found herself…

At a… a wedding?

Outside.

The rock music had stopped, and now Gale heard 505 by Arctic Monkeys.
