Days passed, but Adrian could not get the mysterious dancer out of his mind. He sought out the masked stranger at every opportunity, but it was as if the person had vanished. Frustrated and intrigued, he confided in Marcus.
"Whoever it was, they were different," Adrian said. "I need to find them."
Marcus, always supportive, offered to help. "We'll find them, Adrian. Perhaps they will reveal themselves in time."
One evening, as Adrian wandered the palace gardens, he heard a familiar voice. "Looking for someone?"
He turned to see the masked dancer, now unmasked, revealing a handsome young man with a mischievous smile. "You," Adrian breathed, a mix of relief and excitement in his voice. "Who are you really?"
The stranger stepped closer. "I am Prince Lucian of Valtoria. And you, Prince Adrian, have captured my interest."
Adrian was stunned. "But why the
secrecy?"
Lucian’s expression turned serious. "In our kingdoms, our love is forbidden. I wanted to know if what I felt was real before revealing myself."
