As the hall filled with dignitaries and nobles, Adrian took a deep breath and stepped forward. "I have something to say," he announced, his voice steady. "I cannot marry Princess Elara, for my heart belongs to another."
Gasps filled the room as he continued, "I am in love with Prince Lucian of Valtoria."
Lucian joined him, taking his hand. "Our love is real, and we will not hide it any longer."
Queen Isabella rose from her throne, her face a mask of shock and anger. "Adrian, what are you saying?"
