A/N: Hello friends! This story might be a little confusing, it's a plot bunny and made sense in my head....but not so much when I was actually writing it. So, if it confuses you, I apologize, its more a drabble than a coherent story. Anyway, thank you for checking out this story and I hope you enjoy! If you want to leave a review, it would be very appreciated.

The hole wasn't big enough

The hole simply just wasn't big enough, and it would never be. Bombs were going off, people were screaming, there was blood everywhere, but the only thing Mikey was thinking was, 'the hole isn't big enough.'

It wouldn't fit all of them, it would only fit one. Three lives would be wasted, and one would live. Though they wouldn't all fit, and by some miracle, if one was able to get out and another would enter, the pipe would crush them before they could reach civilization.

It was a losing situation.

And Mikey hated it, he hated it with every fiber in his being. Because he was promised they would get out, that they would go home and celebrate. Originally, he thought it would be a joyous celebration, but it was seemly getting worse.

Mikey was the smallest, and the youngest. Logically it would've been best to send him first, but the young turtle refused, debated against his older brothers, and ultimately was losing. Losing a situation where all his nightmares would come true. Reality would turn stone cold, and his heart would break into a million pieces.

But words were just words. Actions had a reaction, to which Mikey wished that he should've known going on a mission with no weapons was a bad idea, and that going into a bomb-loaded facility would be disastrous.

It was already happening

His reality was already starting to become warped as sweat dripped down his brow. His brothers faces were slowly becoming more blurred, and Mikey wished he was unconscious. Because if he was unconscious, his brothers couldn't stuff him up a tube, someone would have to come with him.

But he wanted everyone to come with him.

He wanted everyone to come home with no injuries, no mental issues, and no problems affecting their moral and personal judgement. Though, he knew that this dream of his was only a fantasy that would never come true.

Everyone had to get out

He felt someone pushing him into the pipe. He retaliated. He pushed and fought back words of scorn. He did...he did many things.

But he spoke

"Leo stop!" Mikey bit out. "I'm not going into the pipe without you guys!"

"This place is blowing up Mikey, now get into the pipe!"

The pipe started to seem irrelevant now to the young turtle. Now it was more focused on what Leo was trying to do, rather than say. No one wanted to say it, not even him, but they were going to die, without Mikey that is.

Mikey refused to believe that this could happen. He told himself this wouldn't happen, that they would all die together and certainly not alone. But it was happening, and it was happening fast.

"I'm. Not. Going. Without. You. Guys."

Raph walked forward and started to push Mikey in the pipe with more force, as Mikey kept trying to squirm out of his brothers grip. He started to panic because he knew that he was going to live. That his brother was going to push him up and he would never get to come back down.

And maybe this was his fear

Maybe being alone forever was his fear, or maybe it was that he wasn't considered good enough to stay with his brothers. He knew that they only wanted him to live, but he didn't want to. A life without anyone in it wasn't worth living in his opinion.
