Chapter 5 - Interviews

Interviews were going smoothly, I was wearing a long golden dress, with matching gold Makeup and Lipstick, and Maxima advice was just told me to get the crowd's attention, one way or another.

Roxie and Lance had great interviews and caught the crowd's attention immediately, I talked about my fear of Spiders and got the crowd's attention with my answers, Leo, Lilly, and Rio, were similar to Roxie and Lance, but were a bit more motivated.

The pair from 3 and 5 talked about how they shouldn't be underestimated.

The pair from 6, just talked about how they would stick together.

And Every District was the same as last year, except 10 and 14. 

Because 14 had died and Marany threw a tantrum about the reaping being rigged and how it should have been Sally Carson that should have been reaped since she rigged it for her to reaped, yes she blatantly admitted that in front of the whole Nation, well so long for Dallas getting her sponsors as if he even wanted to get her any anyways.

After the interviews when we were about to leave, someone entered the room.

"Hey, can I speak with June alone?" Dallas said as he walked in
"Ohhhhhhhh" Everyone in my alliance teased, and I blushed
"S-s-sure," I said and walked with him to an isolated part of the Dalton Studios, where the interviews took place.

"Look, you know Marany," He asked, I nod
"Well, after she admitted to tampering with the names, a lot of people, from Districts and The Capitol, are saying they want justice," He said
"Why does the Capitol want justice?" I asked
"The Capitol wants the Games to be fair, and not to be rigged, so that's why President Gaul is demanding I get her killed, by any means, as long as she dies, and if she doesn't die, President Gaul will have my Family killed," Dallas explained

"Okay, but why are you telling me?" I asked
"As much as I don't want to ask you this, I have to..." He says before continuing
"I need you, June Naysmith, to kill Marany Suzuki," He finishes
"W-w-what?" I stuttered
"I need you to kill Marany since you have the biggest chance of doing so, I need you to do this, please I beg of you! For the sake of my family! If you do this, for me, and my family, I will help you win this," He says and I finally agree, he shakes my hand, and whispers to me "Thank you..." I blush as he walks away.

I walked back to the apartment, and the other careers, tried to question me about what Dallas said to me, but I didn't tell them anything, I went to sleep remembering this promise I made.
