Chapter 6 - Bloodbath

I entered the Launch Room, and Maxima helped me put on the Arena Uniform, which was a White T-shirt with Our District Emblem on the back of it, White Cargo Pants, White Socks, and White Running Shoes with Gold Trims, I assumed that the Arena was somewhat Urban because of the Uniform, she gave some last minute advice, and I entered the tube, and a few minutes later, I rose into the Arena.

When I saw the Arena I gasped, we were in A Shopping Mall, and it wasn't even abandoned, it was in mint condition, with 2 Ramps that went up the 2nd floor on the furthest side of the mall, I looked to my sides, to my right was Zingana, and to my left was Xavier, I narrowed my eyes at the cornucopia, and smiled happily when I saw an Axe at the mouth, and so I prepared my self to run.

(A/N I just realized for the past few chapters of the last two books I have spelled Abandoned as Abounded, so sorry guys,)

As the Gong or as I should say Bell sounded I ran for the axe, grabbing it I turned around to see Lance shooting a Crossbow Bolt into Jeany's Chest, I ran towards Zingana and buried the Axe into her chest, and she screamed in pain as she fell. I pulled out the Axe from her Chest and Quickly turned around, I saw Xavier grabbing a Sickle and Backpack, and I wasn't going to let it happen, so I threw the Axe into his Skull killing him and he fell to the ground, and I heard Pixelle scream in grief behind me, but I didn't have time for her.

I got up and ran towards the pair from 11, who was cutting up Chiffon with Scythes, once they were done with him, I swung my Axe into Chicory Head, pulled it out, and Rio shot Sower in the back, I stood up looking for more targets when I saw Marany screaming at Leo that he couldn't kill her since she was the Mayor's Daughter, and she went on and on, Leo looked so shocked that he didn't even realize that he stabbed her in the leg, but I came up behind Marany and put my Axe into her head, keeping the Promise I made for Dallas, even though Leo only made an Assist kill he was fine with it.

Once the Bloodbath was over I sat down next to the dead body of Marany smiling knowing I kept Dallas' family safe from harm. I looked at my Axe and noticed that the Axe was a Tomahawk I cleaned the blood off it and watched Roxie and Lance talking to each other, they had gotten close in these past few days, maybe there was more than just friendship to their relationship.

Leo was kicking the bodies softly to make sure they were dead, and Rio and Lilly were checking the supplies in the cornucopia, I sighed knowing that this place wasn't an abandoned Mall and wouldn't have Spiders, and then 7 cannons went off in a row, I frowned fearing my death, No! I wouldn't let it happen! I'm going home no matter what!

7 Hours Later

The Mall had 4 floors and we started hunting at 7 PM and started searching the mall for Tributes, but only found Acre who begged for his life, but Rio and Lilly didn't listen and killed him, after that, we went back to the Cornucopia at around 11 PM, and made sure nothing was taken, and watched the Fallen.

(A/N In the Original Story, there was no Fallen, because it didn't exist for a long while, but here, it has existed for years so I had to include it)
